- This week I present to YOU the full Drive & Sound test with the recently facelifted Audi A7 Sportback powered by the range-topping 3.0 BiTurbo TDI now delivering 320 hp and 650 Nm of torque! My special thanks go to Autohaus Küver (www.kuever.com) that provided this exclusively equipped car for our intensive video shoot! Last summer I was actually about to order one of these Facelift A7 in pretty much the same spec, therefore I was particularly interested in this test-drive. This car features the optional S-Line package, Matrix-LEDs, 20 inch wheels, air suspension and last but not least the awesome Bang & Olufsen Sound system, so pretty much the whole option-list;) I think the looks are great (color is glacier white pearlescent) and comfort and punch are phenomenal. Actually you can also get this car as an "S-Line Competition" version delivering 346 hp and 680 Nm in an overboost mode. That one is then getting closer to BMWs TriTurbo in the M550d or 650d. As you can see in the video the acceleration figures are slightly improved to the 313 hp predecessor with especially the 8-speed ZF automatic making a better job! Hallo, just wanna say thank you for your videos, I've watched those of the A6 a A7 biTDI countless times; it was a nice reference to get an idea of how the car may feel. Ist ein Zusatzpaket. Ich finde die Blinker am schönsten am ganzen Auto.
dH2e Hinten stimme ich dir direkt zu. Vorne sind sie erstmal ungewohnt.
DimensiiioN Wenn man sich daran gewöhnt, findet man die vorne auch schön.
I am in love with the A7 maybe not in white though, would be a bitch to keep clean maybe a grey or black one
I think white is easier to keep clean compared to black.
But grey is definitely the easiest to keep clean.
Cooles Video. Die Beschleunigungsmessung solltest du aber lieber mit Launch Control machen. Dann erreicht man auch ziemlich gut die Werksangabe von 5,2 Sek. Der Sound ist klasse, klingt live noch viel bissiger.. verführt aber auch dazu des öfteren mal unnötig draufzutreten ;)

Auch wenn das Video schon etwas älter ist muss ich das nochmal los werden. Für einen V6 Diesel klingt der Motor meiner Meinung nach ziemlich geil. Die Fahrleistungen reichen auch vollkommen aus (also für den Normalverbraucher). :D

Also für einen Diesel klingt das schon wirklich gut. Mein Vater hat einen A6 mit dem selben Motor nur weniger PS und es ist wirklich geil wie hoch der Motor dreht und wieviel Drehmoment der hat! Einfach geil!!!

Das ausfahren des navi Bildschirms kenn ich aber aus dem a3 deutlich leiser - oder liegt das an der Aufnahme? Ansonsten top. Für diese Fahrleistungen würde ein Benziner deutlich mehr schlucken.
Henrik Hamann Die Kamera nimmt das Geräusch schon etwas lauter auf, als es tatsächlich ist. Dennoch, im A3 ist der gleiche Mechanismus deutlich leiser, das stimmt!

What is the consumption? I watch lot of your videos and find them very very good. You should put some information about consumption, it is interesting measure for tehnical improvement of the engine.
Fran Mišković On some of our shorter test-drives the real consumption is hard to tell. I'm putting down this information if I had the car for a few days and longer trips, but on video shoots (with the car sitting in idle quite some time). This A7 will likely take 8.5 liter Diesel on average, if you drive normally maybe a 7.x.
For the 3l BiTurbo 8-10L/100km is average. Depends how hard you push her.

Warum hast du dich dann eigentlich gegen den A7 entschieden? :D
fe1138lix Ich hatte vorher ja einen A6 4G S-Line Selection und wollte mal wieder was anderes, der A7 wäre ja doch sehr ähnlich gewesen. Daher bin ich dann am Ende bei der S3 Limousine gelandet, einfach die aktuellere Technik! Obwohl es ein Diesel ist hat der 3.0 BiTurbo schon recht hohe Unterhaltskosten. Versicherung ist teuer, Steuer ist teuer und auch der Verbrauch liegt im Alltag zwischen 7-8 Liter. Klar verbraucht der S3 mehr, und dann auch noch Super Plus, aber in den Gesamtkosten ist er dann doch deutlich humaner und hat viel bessere Fahrleistungen und einen deutlich besseren SOUND :-)

Durch die Facelifts ist Audi jetzt zu einer meiner Lieblingsmarken geworden, fehlt nur noch ein neuer A4/A5, dann passts...

Der audi A7 biturbo geht eigentlich in 5.2 oder sogar noch weniger von 0-100 . das es hier 5.9 s dauert liegt daran, dass das Auto noch nicht eingefahren . Es ist wie man im Video sieht erst bei 27 km. nach 1500 km Würde die Beschleunigung und dann noch mit Launch Control sicherlich Um die 5.2 s dauern:)
+Tim Ler Wat, bei 4:49 steht 15833 oder 16833, kann ich wegen der Spiegelung nicht genau lesen. Aber ja, er beschleunigt besser als in 5,9s
Benutzt du für die Außenaufnahmen (direkt am Auto) die Originale GoPro Saugnapf-Halterung oder irgendeine andere?
Ja, die Originale die ich noch von der 2er GoPro habe....ich weiß gar nicht ob es die aktuell noch gibt.

standard on the bi-turbo model
there's a lil box in the boot you can swap out for sound upgrades that plays a more aggressive exhaust note. ABT makes one i think.
Würdest du den A7 einem CLS 350 hervorziehen?
Kommt immer auf das spezifische Fahrzeug an, aber aktuell würde ich wegen der mMn nach besseren Automatik und dem agileren Charakter des A7 zum Audi tendieren.
Wie 5.9 von 0-100kmh? Mein Avant 3.0 TDI 320ps macht es in 5.0 mit launch control.
Wie viele Kilometer haben sie bereits? Unser A6 Avant mit dem selben Motor benötigt 6s :/

+Bence Gábor I don't know where you're from, but in my country they do. The Touareg and the Phaeton both come with a 3.0 TDI base engine. If you meant this particular biTDI engine you're right, that one doesn't come in any Volkswagen to my knowledge. Be careful with your writing, don't mix things up, because the fact that this biTDI doesn't come in a Volkswagen doesn't mean that Volkswagen doesn't have any production V6 diesel whatsoever. In fact, this engine may have been designed by Audi but Audi's a member of the VAG, so definitely Volkswagen had something to do with the process of manufacturing this engine.
You're right, I'm living in Germany and even here, the base diesel for the Touareg is a 3L V6 with 204 bhp and there is only one more diesel with 262 bhp, sorry.
