This turned out beautifully! :) I was a little skeptical about whether or not they were going to be able to make the animatronics look good, but they really hit the ball out of the park with these ones! :) The animatronics all look fantastic! I think they overdid the black lighting, but other than that, this turned out absolutely beautiful! :)
Very impressed. The previous ride was such a non-event. This is pretty magical. Could have been a little more spectacular but for what it is it's pretty great.
oh my gosh those animatronics are absolutely amazing!!! olaf dancing around-outstanding! they all move so well! im not the biggest fan of the projected faces though. i felt that on mine train it felt a little too unnatural and bright.
I have to say that the best part for me looking at this video is Elsa singing the "Let it Go" song in her ice castle. She is also the most "active" animatronic Disney has ever had and I know that Elsa was their biggest challenge.
Great editing ryno! Thanks for waiting forever ;) for us! Honestly that ride looks pretty awesome! Sad that Malestroms gone and we had to let it go, but the technology in this dark ride is more advanced then Malestrom was. All together at least the guests gained a more modern ride than receiving a mediocre attraction.
No not great, but light years beyond what was there for 26 years. And yes I agree that it doesn't really fit in with the rest of the World Showcase theme'ing, but who's to say that it's not time for a change? That said, why not more C or D rides like this around the lagoon? A Mulan ride in China, a Rapunzel ride in Germany, an Aladdin ride in Morocco, a Beauty and the Beast and/or Cinderella ride in France, a Sleeping Beauty ride in the UK, and an Elena of Avalor ride in Mexico. And if executed as well the Frozen ride, then kids, teens, parents, and seniors would happily wait in line to revisit these childhood memories. And as we all know, the same can't be said for the current crop of attractions in the World Showcase pavilions.
You know... I agree. You aren't making it a Magic Kingdom 2 - or taking away from the countries.... but actually bringing more folks INTO Epcot to learn about the countries. After all, I could see it being cool for kids to learn about these countries BECAUSE their favorite stories were based there. But Also... PLEASE do SOMETHING with the front half as well.
Germany was originally supposed to have a river cruise boat ride you can tell the giant art wall, Japan was to have something. Mexico is fine, let's not forget my favorite Grand Fiesta Tour! Frozen doesn't take away from World Showcase at all, when you see Norway, you see Norway. Everything architected for the expansion was in Norwegian concept!
The first Olaf and Sven animatronics were pretty amazing. The rest was painfully meh. And those projection screen face animatronics are creepy af. I know they probably show up weird on camera, but I can't imagine them being much less distracting in person.
I put this up on my TV and got REALLY worried that my new 4K TV had clusters of stuck pixels. The red dot near the bottom-center and the white dot on the right side of this video are baked into the video. Not stuck pixels on my display. Whew
The ride was awesome but the gift shop; it's like I died and went to Frozen heaven. I'd probably end up spending a TON of money there, much to my family's dismay. But since my sister is also a fan, she'd probably get stuff too. 💸
: / I'm a bit disappointed. No change to the way the Norway ride operated, no new song, no new story and while the animatronics have vastly improved over the past few years, (like with new Ariel ride, like omg her hair is A-mazing) it really doesn't change that this ride definitely is missing the "Disney difference".
The ride looks great!! It's as whimsical as the Journey Through Imagination used to be!!

A lot of hype around this ride, let's hope it's good, looking forward to watching it soon!
Thank you Ryno for waiting a ridiculously long time to provide us with this excellent video. I love it! :)

This is the first video I've seen where both Olaf and Elsa were functioning, lol. Congrats on capturing this rare moment!
Attractions Magazine managed to get a video with them working too
So much Norwegian....much culture...so edutainment

That was amazing actually brought a tear to my eye.. I so, so, so, so can't wait to ride it in my Nov trip FP+ here I come
This looks so amazing! So beautiful. Loved every minute of it! :)
the standby sign at the end 240 minutes or 4 hours.
They should keep the old exit movie for good measure. haha!
Or better yet just make it like the films in Canada, China, and France pavilions: a separate attraction. Problem solved!
Awesome thanks for sharing
It's very blue.
Now those are some fluid-ass animatronics. Is the facial projection strobing visible on the ride or is it just a side-effect of the video's framerate?
That's a framerate issue with the camera. They appear as stable projections in person - similar to Mine Train or Buzz Lightyear.
5:24 DAMN! Your So Close To The Audio That It Almost Sounds Like Source Audio!
It looks fun but I will definitely be riding with fast pass. 240 minute wait time is not how i like to spend my day at Epcot xD
Thanks-now I don't have to wait in line for this attraction!

I don't know why Sleeping Beauty should be placed in the UK considering it's German. But a Mary Poppins ride would be great fun.
I basically googled where the stories were supposed to have taken place and it provided me the details.
+OneFootInHellAlready I can imagine it already. Especially the part where they go in the painting. It would be an explosion of color!🎨
This looks amazing. Are those holograms?
least they dont resort to using 3D screens in all their attractions.
Yeah like universal
The first Olaf and Sven animatronics were pretty amazing. The rest was painfully meh. And those projection screen face animatronics are creepy af. I know they probably show up weird on camera, but I can't imagine them being much less distracting in person.
yea the first olaf was amazing. the ride itself looks pretty amazing compared to others. I'll judge it more when i see it in person though
Every projection is bad in this recording because of the camera settings. It´s better when you see it in person
Really? I like the tv screen mouth movements. It's the same as the dwarves in 7dmt.
I put this up on my TV and got REALLY worried that my new 4K TV had clusters of stuck pixels. The red dot near the bottom-center and the white dot on the right side of this video are baked into the video. Not stuck pixels on my display. Whew
What model camera is this?
240 mins?! Wow and I thought the lines at Halloween Horror Nights were as bad as it gets at 120 or 160 mins.
How long is the fast pass line? Because I will not do this without a fast pass.
From what I've seen and heard it's anywhere between 1-2 hours. But don't take my word for it.
Angelica Real
The FAST PASS LINE is 1-2 hours??
Kathy said in the latest news show that it was only a 10 minute wait.
cantbeatTheBeatles that sounds better
Mc Kenna
Yeah, no way would I wait an hour in fast pass!
I'm not a fan of how dark the ride is. Frozen does not scream black to me. Looks pretty sparse to me.
Why did Disney go cheap and do projectors on the faces of the main figures?
The ride was awesome but the gift shop; it's like I died and went to Frozen heaven. I'd probably end up spending a TON of money there, much to my family's dismay. But since my sister is also a fan, she'd probably get stuff too. 💸

Who's constantly yelling wooooo. I'm so annoyed by it.
I hope the projected faces are a fad. it's creepy and doesn't match with the motions of the body.
They look a lot better in person
boring!
