    My mother used to make this when I was young. I’m talking the 1960’s….and I’m just now learning that it wasn’t called “Swiss steak” because it came from Switzerland…..I guess you’re never too old to learn 😊

Now take a forkful of that tender beef and load it up with mash potatoes and gravy...Mmmm ...like velvet in the mouth. Gosh, I am drooling. Another to die for meal. Thank you Louise! 🙋😛😎

    Just subbed. Been looking for this recipe for a long time.. Love the multipot and my mother used to cook this in the old-fashioned rocker top pressure pot. Just adding this tip for those who don't know, market will sell you cube steak for three times the cost of round steak. Buy a meat mallet, it's worth it. Works for pork and veal as well.

    I like your videos. I'm 58 on disability. My wife is 68 and we can cook but we are looking for much easier and less of a mess, that's why I'm looking for other options. We just bought the Ninja AG301 and we love it older model but it is cheaper than the newer one by 120. The next one we are getting is the Ninja OL501. I'm not paying 100 more just for a thermometer, you do a great job well thought out and look forward to many more.

      She would have browned onions with the meat and not added carrots. After the meat was done, she thickened the gravy until it was almost like icing. The only way I could see having problem is if you didn’t add enough liquid for the pressure cooker function or if you added too much you would have to take the meat out and let some of it boil off.

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  2 роки тому +1

      The corn should do fine with 7 minutes of PC time, but the peas would become mushy. I would thaw the peas and then add them at the end if you want them in the gravy or cook them separately.
