- Chris was born in Everett, WA, just north of Seattle, where he resided with his mother, stepfather, two sisters, and one brother. Throughout his childhood, he oscillated between Washington and South Dakota multiple times. At various junctures, Chris and one of his sisters spent a year and a half in foster care.
Chris abandoned high school and commenced working. In his 20s, he fell in love and relocated frequently. At 23, his daughter was born. When she was two years old, Chris and his partner separated, leaving him isolated in their apartment. He attempted to manage by having coworkers move in, but this only exacerbated matters as he began using illicit drugs to cope. Ultimately, he had to vacate the apartment and, after a period of couch surfing, found himself living on the streets.
For a time, his mother permitted him and a new girlfriend to live with her, even accommodating his daughter. However, this arrangement was short-lived, and his daughter was briefly placed in foster care. Chris endeavored to achieve sobriety, but circumstances did not align in his favor, and his daughter went to live full-time with her mother.
Chris has been homeless for the past four years, residing in an RV for a while. He yearns to overcome his addiction, secure stable employment, and reestablish a presence in his daughter's life.
This is part of his story.

I appreciated the commentary about the steel covered armchair ashtrays on 1980s flights. A distinct memory for yours truly also.
Thanks for watching and yep, the 80's were different indeed.
Boy, do I miss them. :)
When you watch story of homeless people struggle to survive or people or family get kick out of the home because of the rent or x reasons ! you think to yourself that your little problems is very nothing compare to them! thank for the video! A+ !
Thanks for watching and your thoughts. Shifting perspective always help with compassion and empathy indeed.
You are helping him to remember
This video is not about homelessness. It’s about addiction and bad choices. His entire story was a laundry list of constantly moving around from place to place, having problems at every place they go, bouncing from job to job. Either they were already on drugs and that’s why they were unable to keep a job or a house, or they are not very bright
The vast majority of people who are homeless are so bc of drugs. Unless you solve addiction first, they will stay homeless. Giving free shelter isn’t going to solve anything
Too much to remember
Someone prayed for Mallory after she died. I didn't know why. She said Mallory is safe now
