Why Buy The Sea Frog Case & Dome for Olympus TG 5

- After using a small action camera for my videos, I realized I needed a camera with large monitor, so I decided to buy the Olympus TG-5. Then I needed an underwater housing, good for up to 200 feet deep, and a Corrective Dome Port. Video footage included here shows the benefits and advantages of this gear.
I am a beginner and just bought a second hand tg4 online to try out. your video answered many questions that i have been searching for answers for all over the internet. thank you very much.

Thinking of up grading to a TG-6,I think it will fit the Sea Frog housing.
Perfect timing on this video, I'm just looking to buy a housing for my TG-5 and start doing better uw photography than just my GoPro... I've been waffling between this and the Olympus housing. You helped me make the decision. Appreciate you posting this.
There are things to no about using Sea Frog housing next video, big difference from the action camera,one thing I did not was battery power the X-2 battery is short on time ,I get two dives with the TG-5.

No must have been a mistake
lonenightdiver I took it as the camera has so many functions it also comes with a 401k. Sorta like this camera can do everything:-)

The wet dome that fits that flange, lose my first dome it came lose an floated away, ordered a new one the fit the flange dimensions.

Another reasons for a TG-5, I made a mistake my Sea Frog Housing got a leak! with a $1000 plus top side camera and lens game over!
Thanks for sharing lonenightdiver! Got the Sea Frog case and dome after watching your video. Struggeling with the inner o-ring. After cleaning it's hard to get it back in place. Any tips on that?
how are you finding the dome? Is it good after all this time? Does it leak? I´m looking for a housing for my tg6 and seafrog is the cheapest option
The dome came with the housing ,no leaks going three years.
Very informative. One question, maybe two. Do you have any issues when you swap out the dome port. Also, do you get air bubble between the port housing and camera housing?
Yes the deeper the harder to remove dome ,yes flush out the air with movement or fingers..
Nice information. The window of this underwater housing seems smaller than the screen of the TG5. Is this true? is it annoying to take pictures?
Yes it is.but it is a lot bigger the Connex camera, I was using.

hi. was hoping if u can share some thoughts on the seafrog domes. m67-01 and m67-02... theres very little information around...
In 1966 had to do all the math, etc. do not know what my dome is, but it works, did a lot of questing and thinking how the correction ,was it fill air or water before buying the unit ,all I know it works.
Is there a thread on the dome port? How does it actually fit into the dive housing?
Yes they are very fine threads. I always remove dome wash out air, start of dive.
With sea frogs housing for tg-6 and dome lens, I have yet to find out how to hook up a strobe
Strobe that is for till photos ,did that with an oceanit corrector ,but that was back in 1966 I just do videos now ,sorry can not help.

Yes wet and it works, spit shot do not know, will see next on dive.
