My truck didn’t come with the power folding feature if I buy the oem window switch with power folding option will it be plug and play? I have a 2020 Silverado 1500 LT please let me know
@ So if I’m pulling into or out of my garage, I would have to activate the wireless module first and then fold the mirrors? Is there a way to leave the module activated at all times or does that drain the battery? Any way to wire so that the ignition activates the module?
@@CraigThompson-q9h You need to activate the modules every time to fold them, otherwise the modules would always be awake and drain the battery. I have this in my truck and use it daily, it just becomes second nature.
@boostautoparts , if I activate the module and fold the mirrors in, then turn off the truck overnight with them folded. Will they stay folded until next startup ?
They will not - unless you originally had power fold and your factory power fold mirrors do that. They will fold according to what is shown in the wireless module user guide section of the video at 12:51
It does not - it is like the factory light on the sport mirrors; it operates as a spot light. It can be left on while driving using our wireless ECU's shown in this video
The wireless piece of it is the communication from side to side. Other solutions on the market would require you to run wires from the dash into both doors, whereas our modules communicate wirelessly from side to side.

@@fredp3088 Awesome - love to hear it! Our team certainly strives to make things as easy as possible.
Do you’ll sell just the module
No, as the module isn't compatible with anything other than our mirrors so it has no value without the mirrors.

As a gm owner I just think gm used too much plastic on these trucks
