Id like to see a new video about where to put the prospects after the draft, who goes to A who to put in AA , AAA , and how to determine who goes to what level for all prospects , also when to move them around , up and down in leagues.
Yes!! This, I draft out of this world... Usually 90+, and a couple high 80s... Yet, most of them don't organically develop... I have to be doing something wrong. I always have 10+ top 50 prospects, but they have low overalls and take 5 years to get to 70+...
@@BeepBeep1981 That’s typically how it’s supposed to work unless you get a generational which you can usually plug into the mlb lineup right away. Your other prospects are developing just slowly and you also have to take their performance into account
Typically 60+ should be in AA (you can keep lower 60s in A), 70+ should be in AAA, and 75+ should be in MLB. If you keep a prospect too low eventually they will hit a ceiling for development for that league. If they are not playing in their league, they will likely develop slower. Be careful about being too deep at a single position unless they can play multiple positions. If you have 6+ amazing SS, which can be pretty common after a few years of drafting and trades, you need to be sure they can all play fairly regularly or accept the fact that one or two of them may not get regular playing time thus potentially hindering their development. I also am skeptical about drafting anyone below 50 or even in the low 50s unless they are super young or I know they can be used as a trade piece down the line.
The new drafting is so stacked with quality prospects now that I think it would be a complete waste of time saving and re-doing a draft just to try and steal a player at a later round. Maybe I'm doing something different in my scouting but seems like I pull high 80s and 90s rated players every time no matter what pick I'm taking the player at. I don't think it's worth going back and re-doing the draft. The game is easy enough after a few seasons and before long you have more quality prospects than you can use. Try and teach people not to cheat the system because the game is more enjoyable that way.
I don’t typically have luck with players being able to slide the cpu almost always takes that player if you don’t take them The only luck I’ve ever had with this experiment of allowing a player to drop is when I had multiple compensatory picks from losing qualifier players in free agency
I try to sign the later picks ASAP so I can use the rest of the time to bring down the demand of my 1st and 2nd round picks. I've been able to sign every pick so far
I have a question how u scouted alot of pitchers in 14 Sundays? Because I'm trying to do that and I'm doing it 1 by 1 and it's not going to be enough time to scout all the players I want to scout

Is it better to scout 2 player's instead of 3 so their "intrest" levels are higher? That's my problem when trying to sign them after the draft
