I was waiting to comment until I finally got everything done, but I have finally passed SIE, series 6, series 63 and today, series 65. Before every test, I would watch these on the drive down to the testing center, and it helped me so much. Every test, I can think of one example of something I remembered listening to during these videos. So I am grateful for that. Thank you for making these!

Failed the 66 but took the 63 two days later and passed. Now, two weeks later, I’ve also successfully passed the 65. The only change I made after failing the 66 was watching your playlists, particularly your practice exam reviews. I couldn't afford a tutor, but your videos made all the difference. Dean, this video is amazing. I can't tell you enough how thankful I am that I watched it before I took my exam. I would say not everything was on my draw of questions, but 85% was, and 71 is passing! I passed the Series 65 this morning! What a relief. As everyone else has said below, I couldn't done it with without Dean and Brian's help. The test language gets very tricky and without the insights from Dean and Brian, its a tough test to pass. There was time during the test that I thought that there is no way I would pass it but took a deep breath and took on one question at a time. ... I kept hearing Brian in my ear say: "inch by inch...." - Thank you so much for everything you do. Anyone trying to pass this test, Brian Les's video course is a must have. Kaplan's course is very dry but their Q bank is worth every dollar. Good Luck and YOU CAN DO IT!!!

I failed the test for a second time. Question: if a client take the proceeds from a CD, and puts the cash in a safe deposit box, then takes the money out one year later and invests the cash, did they subject themselves to inflation risk or opportunity cost? TIA!

Hi Dean, I took the 65 and failed with a 60.5 yesterday. Passed SIE, 6 & 63 each on the 1st try … thanks to your help! I was stunned at the questions on the 65 exam. Entire sections not even touched - almost nothing on bonds, nothing on exempt/nonexempt, Only 1 or 2 point and click, only one question with Roman numbers, one retirement question … and so on. Long questions that only got harder as the test proceeded. I’m reluctant to say it out loud, but I suspect the exam I took yesterday was designed, deliberately, to not pass. I put in the work, but they put in the fix IMO. I’m 54, have two degrees, know how to take tests … but yesterday’s exam had me at 60 for each category across the spectrum. Negative, no way. The people who create this exam are not honest and I strongly believe that very few would have passed what I experienced yesterday.
@@Series7Guru my manager calls it a junk exam… Just for this reason. She’s extremely knowledgeable, has devoted 13 years of her life to it as a single woman whose life is the securities business. It took her three tries to pass it. I want to be angry about the whole thing, but that’s a waste of time.as before, these people are not honest

@@wealthyscientist3197 no I made a 71 instead of a 72. I signed up for a test date two weeks out from when I finished the Kaplan program but was still only making about a 70-74 on the practice exams. I should have waited until I made at least an 80. I’m retaking it in 2 weeks.
@@baileybowen2305 1 point. I used securities institute of America. I did good on practice exams but failed the greenlight exam. Totally different set of questions from learning material. I switched to kaplan about a week ago. Take exam in less than 48 hours.

Hi Dean, I wanted to let you know that I failed my 65 exam today. My score was a 57% using just your videos alone with no additional studying which is great. I used your videos for the SIE but I also read the textbook. I plan to read the entire Kaplan exam and use the videos before I test again. Hi Dean, I took the 65 and failed with a 60.5 yesterday. Passed SIE, 6 & 63 each on the 1st try … thanks to your help!
I was stunned at the questions on the 65 exam. Entire sections not even touched - almost nothing on bonds, nothing on exempt/nonexempt,
Only 1 or 2 point and click, only one question with Roman numbers, one retirement question … and so on. Long questions that only got harder as the test proceeded. I’m reluctant to say it out loud, but I suspect the exam I took yesterday was designed, deliberately, to not pass.
I put in the work, but they put in the fix IMO. I’m 54, have two degrees, know how to take tests … but yesterday’s exam had me at 60 for each category across the spectrum. Negative, no way. The people who create this exam are not honest and I strongly believe that very few would have passed what I experienced yesterday.
Sounds like a face of death draw for sure.
@@Series7Guru my manager calls it a junk exam… Just for this reason. She’s extremely knowledgeable, has devoted 13 years of her life to it as a single woman whose life is the securities business. It took her three tries to pass it. I want to be angry about the whole thing, but that’s a waste of time.as before, these people are not honest

@@wealthyscientist3197 no I made a 71 instead of a 72. I signed up for a test date two weeks out from when I finished the Kaplan program but was still only making about a 70-74 on the practice exams. I should have waited until I made at least an 80. I’m retaking it in 2 weeks.
@@baileybowen2305 1 point. I used securities institute of America. I did good on practice exams but failed the greenlight exam. Totally different set of questions from learning material. I switched to kaplan about a week ago. Take exam in less than 48 hours.

Just passed the S65 exam. It was a difficult draw. Deans videos are the way to go. Saw the day before the s65 exam this morning before the exam.
Great tool. Overall Mr. Tinneys help in the Nasaa and Finra exam is unmatched.

Hi Dean, I wanted to let you know that I failed my 65 exam today. My score was a 57% using just your videos alone with no additional studying which is great. I used your videos for the SIE but I also read the textbook. I plan to read the entire Kaplan exam and use the videos before I test again. On the bright side I see where I did well versus what I need improvement on. Thanks for all of your videos they really work.
