Those are nice size cedars and not many hollow ones. For white cedars I try to use the Humboldt cut with the wedge out of the stump to save a few inches of trunk, and also the end of the log is pretty much flat. If you keep too much root flare they get to be a pita to mill though...
Good thing you are taking those cedars out ! They were definitely RIPE. White cedar is bringing big money here in northern Vermont

Ya I agree about the flare and the notch, my back doesnt like the low notching lol
Cedar is all we cut here in Ontario we saw and have a post peeler and also buy cedar logs and posts good job
