I had a weird idea. It would be cool if there was a place that had the weights of empty containers after products are panned. That way panners can see how far away they are from completion. I thought of that when you mentioned the beauty bounce and the heavy glass packaging.
I've been working on a Project Use It Up/ Replacement only No Buy this year and I recently went through my empties box and found that I've used up 117 skincare/health and beauty items this year so far! Only 2 of those were makeup, but my focus has mostly been on hair and body products that have stockpiled over the years. I haven't purchased shampoo/ conditioner, body wash, lotion, or hand soaps once this year, which should tell you how much I had to start with 😂
helloitsmissnasty oh my gosh that’s good progress! But I can’t imagine not buying shampoo for a whole year- girl you were ready for an apocalypse with your haircare lol.
I want to do this next year! I want to use up what I have and I know I’m in the same position 😂😂 I know I won’t have to repurchase because I have too many of the same product 😀
I get sealed pans sometimes and I find a piece of tape removes the oil layer without wasting too much product. I'm specially thinking of shadows like the shimmers in subculture.
I always replace the spray top on my mac fixed plus with an old sprayer I took off an UD setting spray bottle. Makes it much nicer to use. I'm very slowly making progress on my coty powder but I am building through my shower products.
I have nearly finished my Hourglass highlighter. It’s in the six pan palette. So that means in the 2 1/2 years I’ve had this palette I’ve finished 3 of the 6 products. I’m trying to use the bronzer and 2 blushes more often. Apart from that palette, I don’t have enough makeup that I need to try to pan anything as I naturally finish something before replacing it.
I was late at everything today. I started watching Tati and then I paused cause I saw Kat uploaded. And then I saw Hailey uploaded. No sleep for me I guess. Love the unique colors on your eyes. I am finishing the L’Oréal freshwear and I have hit pan in some shades of the Naked 3 and the Ciate ft Chloe Morello palette. I only have the Huda nude, so I have 3 palettes and I am not buying another unless I hit pan in the two I mentioned. At this rate I suppose I will buy another in a couple of months. Wish me luck.
I only ever use deodorant, shampoo and conditioner by the time you do your empties 🙈 determined to pan more body moisturisers and get my skincare drawer down 😊
I’ve started wearing powder foundations on days I don’t wear a lot of makeup because of you! Trying to find one to cover more of my redness but loving the look 😊
Inglot Soft Precision lipliner nr 63 should be pretty similar to Dolce K. Not 100% sure, it may be a bit more pinky, but I think it's worth checking out :D
I feel like that Bare Minerals eyeshadow primer has been hanging on for such a long time! Eye primer really takes forever to use up; I'm still working on my UD primer potion in Eden and it feels like it's nearly finished but then I keep getting product out of it... 😅
Ohhhh. Your eyes are soooo lovely. Any chance of a tutorial of this eye look? I just got the uh huh honey palette and am a bit lost 😂 Go #teamprojectpan ... I’ve only just started/joined....and am enjoying binge watching all the videos! ❤️
Probably not haha, I did use this foundation very regularly for months so I don't doubt how much was in it. It's just annoying that you can reach the rest
I didn't really think about the fact that the BB foundation cannot be opened until I got to the end of mine. It started sputtering, then nothing at all, but it still LOOKS full. Definitely annoyed about that. And other things about it. It's a pity because it looks really nice on my skin. Lots of other good options to try, though, particularly now in the season of foundations lol
Great update as always. I am in LOVE with your eyeshadow! Can I ask where you got your necklace from? I'm looking for a dainty little neckalce like that
I don't scrape any of the product away, I just agitate the pan slightly so the product can be picked up easily. So it's no wasting any product or tape :)
I think some people assume that I am scraping off the product and throwing away that product so I am wasting it. In reality I am just agitating the pan and then picking up any of disrupted product on my brush. The only advantage of using tape is if you have a very soft product that will break with a light scraping, but this is very firm pan so it's not at all delicate. Using tape to remove the light seal is just wasting tape in this particular instance but can be helpful in others :)
I didn’t mean to imply that you’re wasting your product, just offered to try another way of removing a top greasy layer. When I was working at a makeup counter, this trick always helped me with different products
Hello! The Mac Fix+ spray bottle is supposed to be a fine mist.. I would take it back to mac and tell them. I had this problem once and they replaced it for me :)
Dolce K’s identical dupe in colourpop is chi. Not sure they didn’t discontinue the pencil though. I have both, Kylie and Chi from CP & they are identical!
I like to use it when I use lower coverage foundations and I use It around my nose, under my eyes and on my chin to cover more problematic areas. So I do use quite a bit of it :)
There are many types of project pans and panning challenges on YT. The #teamprojectpan started with a set of guidelines and a spreadsheet so people can keep track of their progress.

your cats in the background of every video is wonderful
And they’re so nice to each other! I want to show my cats... who are not so nice to each other 😭
It's my favorite part of her winter. The cats hang out
That yellow eyelook is fire!! 💥💥

I was distracted by boogie and baby licking each other in the background, too cute!

I've watched many varieties of project pan videos, and this rolling project is my favorite
Just change the spreyer from the mac fix+ to something else. I personally use all nighters sprayer with my fix+ because i really hate it's sprayer
I kept my pixie milky mist bottle to reuse with other sprays if I really hate their nozzle. So far it’s been a great fix!

I just started my own PP. Go #teamprojectpan!

Sephora collection (is there sephora in Australia?) has a lipliner that looks like that Dolce K.....xxx from Switzerland
So annoyin that u cant break the foundation to use it all, thats silly packaging!!
Ur doin great, im really enjoyin this project xxxx
I did try haha
@@KitschSnitch of course u did, were makeup panners lol!
I can see a breakup vid to see how much u can actually get outta it happenin ??!! Haha!

@@KitschSnitch good point! At least u feel u can get ur money's worth out even if u can scrap it :) :)
I love your eye look !
Can you please destroy that foundation that stopped pumping? >:)
Yaaaas
👏👏👏👏👏
It’s thick glass so I don’t really want to smash it open. I did try to pry it open and it wouldn’t come apart

A good way to get rid of hard pan without harming your product is to place tape across the top and peel it off.
Yeah I have tried that but I personally prefer this method, it luckily doesn't harm the product and it saves tape :)
Great update as always. I am in LOVE with your eyeshadow! Can I ask where you got your necklace from? I'm looking for a dainty little neckalce like that
Lol at Mac fix+ feeling like “someone is spitting on you” 😂
Uf, this video is a good reminder, that I need to film my update 😅
If your product seals, try taking the top layer with a scotch tape, instead of scraping it
I don't scrape any of the product away, I just agitate the pan slightly so the product can be picked up easily. So it's no wasting any product or tape :)
What's the advantage of using a Scotch tape instead of scraping it?

Hello! The Mac Fix+ spray bottle is supposed to be a fine mist.. I would take it back to mac and tell them. I had this problem once and they replaced it for me :)
I’ve had a few Mac fix + bottles in my time and this is working normally. It’s just not as good as newer sprays that have much better spray bottles
I've heard colourpop's Brink is similar to Dolce K but I'm assuming you've tried that.
Your eye look is stunning!
Dolce K’s identical dupe in colourpop is chi. Not sure they didn’t discontinue the pencil though. I have both, Kylie and Chi from CP & they are identical!
Sadly that's not available anymore
The kitties giving kisses in b/g 😵😍🥰😻
Oooohhoooeee your eye look is so pretty 😍
I'm amazed how quickly you're using age rewind, I've had mine for 9 months ish and it's still not finished with about 5 uses a week

Love #teamprojectpan I have been doing my own version as such. I haven’t used the hashtag but I may start this month

Love your eyeshadow! 🌺
OMG that eye look is BOMB! Do you have/can you do a tutorial for it please? 🙌
I dont sorry! It is just using a few shades from the Colourpop uh huh honey palette
@@KitschSnitch Thank you, it's gorgeous!
I love your eyeshadow can you please list what you’ve got on it’s stunning
It's listed in the description box - Colourpop's Uh Huh Honey palette.
Thanks the description box isn’t dropping down at all for me so appreciate it Kat looks gorgeous
No problem. Yes I agree she looks amazing! X
yaaas you go Kat!!!
Love the make up
Can you try to just pull the bottle of foundation from the bottom, while jiggling it loose? What eyeshadow are you wearing in this video?
I tried pulling it apart and it didn’t work sadly. The eye makeup is in the description box xo
Which brown eyeliner are you using Kat??
I believe I am using MAC Fluidline in Dipbrown
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜
Nail polish details please!!!
It's a gel from the brand Bio Sculpture in the shade Elsie. It is annoying hard to buy because they only sell to professional salons.
Are you and Hailey going to continue this project in 2020?
We haven't discussed it yet. We will definitely still be panning but whether we do the same project or change it up is yet to be determined :)
@@KitschSnitch I hope you do. It's a brilliant idea and I have really enjoyed following you both in your updates.
break open the foundation bottle on the makeup breakup!!!
Its thick glass, we don't want to smash it open :P
