    Just solder the usual way..
    or use PVC or cpvc

      I like pp . Its faster then solder significantly, I like soldering but a header ? And plastic is poison, I wouldn't drink that water for 2 years

      Never use pvc or cpvc for drinking water. Copper, stainless, or Alupex only

    This seems like so much unnecessary extra work compared to just Soldering the normal way.

      Jay busa They make for a much more reliable joint. withstand higher pressures and no chance of fire and no need for torches, mapp gas, etc. all of which are costly. also, as was mentioned, you can use on wet copper tube, even with water in joint. this is a vast improvement.

      Don’t you need to clean copper pipe before soldering it? And add flux too?
