    • @SociopatheAssume
      @SociopatheAssume 8 місяців тому

      No, Gall was a UFC fighter, this is the reason punk should have started in smaller companies, to gather experience : even the beast Lesnar did that, and we are talking about a man who had ncaa wrestling level, and was UFC champion , so how TF you think punk could have simply walked in the highest level MMA company with ZERO real fights under his belt and only 2 years training , against a guy half his age, who trained for MMA since he was a kid and had already won several fights. So no, Gall was no "really tough fighter, he was average level for UFC, he was no Jon Jones or Mc Gregor. But 500K plus ego made punk believe he could step in the highest level MMA company just like that, with almost any blood sweat and tears.

      it's because he had no combat sports experience, leapfrogged over an entire process, and got his spot on a main card in a numbered event simply because of a pro-wrestling reputation. This is the biggest event in MMA....you can't just pull ppl off the street. You've got to earn your shot. Punk did NOTHING to earn his spot on that card.

    • @SociopatheAssume

      The problem and the "hate" you're talking about do not come from the fact that he was 37 and beat up, the problem is that he had ZERO real fights under his belt, and barely 2 years of training : and with that he got a ticket for the highest level pro MMA company , a ticket that young guys who have been training for years , blood sweat and tears their whole life, do not obtain .
      This is the reason why punk was hated by every young aspiring MMA fighters, and even UFC fighters who do know what it takes, the sacrifices that they have to make in order to be pro MMA athletes.
