This story is way more messed up than you first thought. He murders Yuqi(thrown down the stairs), Miyeon(drowned), Shuhua(car crash) and Soyeon(choked to death). You can tell if you watch the imagery. Shuhua's in a car full of the bouquets you'd see at Korean funerals. You literally see Miyeon's body in the water. You can see his left hand on Soyeon's neck. All the members are near where they died, Yuqi's always around the stairs. Minnie figures out what is happening, the souls of the other four seem to be with her the whole time, so she survives the hit on her wedding and kills him. They are all at peace in the ending.

They kill the guy because he was violent to them, the relationship is toxic and abusive. There is a strong possibility that it’s just Minnie who actually kills the guy, she’s the only one who pulls the trigger. You can also think that the others are dead because of this relationship but that’s not necessarily literal, it can be a way to show that they couldn’t get out of this relationship and it killed them psychologically. It’s up to interpretation. The one thing that I think is no debatable is the violence and the toxicity of this relationship.
The song goes hand in hand with what (g)i-dle has been telling with his music, in this case the abuse between couples, at first they are seen happy and then they are seen as the man mistreats them, there is a theory that says that the abuse was so great that the boy killed them, Shuhua in the car, Yuqi down the stairs, Miyeon drowned, Soyeon Hanged, Minnie found out about this, she was going to marry him, but they did not get married, Minnie murders him so he can avenge the girls who were his partner and died at his hands, as well as not do that to any other woman again. The lyrics sound strong, coming from her perspective within the abuse without realizing it and at the same time knowing the damage she is suffering.
I think that the other girls besides Minnie are already dead and only with her in spirit. Miyeon in particular looked like she was drowned in that swimming pool, then her sad spirit sits at the edge applying lipstick and trying to compose herself. Shuhua spends the whole video sitting in the rain in that car where she was fighting with the dude until after he is killed. Then the sun shines and the car is filled with flowers. Minnie's duffle bag bomb seems to have killed everyone in the room... maybe even Minnie... but not until after she exacts her revenge on the abuser. Then dead Minnie walks out in "girl boss" mode with the others. The serine boat scene where everything is white and all of the girls are wearing white dresses could be heaven, or purgatory, since there is the red sock from his blood that she stepped in.
I think the differentness is because Soyeon didn’t write it. Her style is what gives the rest of their discography coherence despite changing concepts.
For me it looks like they’re all impersonating the same person just like in „I do“ coz they all have the same man and wear the same clothes. Also all of them were in a abusive relationship so they aimed that gun at him to get revenge. At the end you can see all of the girls in peace but when Minnie opened her eyes it was only one of them
Yeah I think so but I also believe he killed them because in one of the beginning scenes you see the ring he gives to two of the girl next to a gun that is later used in another shot and also he was probably extremely manipulative based on the look he gave the 4 other girls when they tried to fight back.
I think you are half correct...while i also think all the girls became part of Minnie or Minnie became all of them...i think they became part of her after their deaths. Some clues are each girl died in a different manor except Minnie who ended him before he ended her. I think the other 4 spirits were helping Minnie seek justice for their deaths. Also...the boyfriends name translates to "Serial Killer" from what ive seen many people say so that reinforces that at some point he dated all of them but they all ended up dead when the relationship became extremely toxic and violent. Minnie wakes up on a boat alone at the end as the only survivor who may be trying to escape because i mean...she did end him. At least thats what ive understood from it.

This vedio show about her in different situation in violence to one women ' Minnie' ( you can see they ware the white outfit in intro and outro and the red book too) and she try to escape or solve the circumstances in many way in her dream The head shot is not real . Just erase him in her mind.
