Bon Jovi | The Hardest Part Is The Night | Soundboard | Rehearsal | Seattle 2010

- As far as my memory goes, this recording had appeared on backstage back in the day. It's unclear as to whether it was recorded in Honolulu where the band was preparing for the tour and doing two warm-up shows or if it's from an earlier rehearsal.
Unfortunately, it was only released as a 128kbit/s mp3 file, really diminishing the overall sound quality. That mostly gets noticeable on the "cheap drum sound", especially on the cymbals. I think it was a raw audio capture without any further mixing since Jon was very much upfront on it. I tried to even that a bit out and give Richie's guitar a little more edge as well.
This channel is now also on Instagram!

Feel free to follow for updates and discussions :)
Also make sure to check out the new website dedicated to Bon Jovi Tours that a friend and I are working on:
bjtours.jimdo....
It's steadily growing and includes a lot of background info and trivia on the albums as well as a lot of setlists (older tours are still under construction, but constantly added).
BEST SONG OF 7800° FAHRENHEIT!!!
I couldnt agree more
I dont thinks so.... Silent Night is the best...hahaha
@@HERUYAYA Hahahaha
This is my favourite song of all Bon Jovi songs, this and Edge Of A Broken Heart. But this version is so sad 😔
best song off their best album
God knows how many fans didnt live their dream, because Jon decided to not play this song :')
His voice was shot even back then. Richie was carrying the whole band.
Damn that 2010 Jon vocals can still really keep up during that time.
It's a pity that as Bon Jovi grew in the early years and got major hits from the 3rd album onwards, these total gems from the first 2 albums weren't played live anymore.
A lot of people saying he's struggling in the comments but I don't think it's bad at all. Its not perfect but he doesn't shy out of much really and I love the added bit at the end. Really wish this got played once or twice at least.
It's still mindboggling hearing 7800 songs from a 2010 Bon Jovi. Love it. Thanks for sharing all these rarities!!
It doesn’t sound bad. He has sang way higher songs during The Circle tour. Wish they have performed this just to see audience reaction back in the days ;)
Agreed. These days he's even struggling to sing post 2010 songs
Still pissed me off that they didn't actually played this back in the day. They sounded awesome
there's a lot of live performances of it on UA-cam from 1985. Most of them are parts of full hour+ long concerts so you have to skip forward if you want to listen to it and I think they might have done it once or twice in 1986 but I don't fully remember so I'm probably wrong.
@@etienne3007 I think he referred to 2010 with "back in the day" though. At the time, they played Roulette, Shot Through The Heart, Get Ready, Only Lonely and Tokyo Road on occasion.
@@hAnD90 If 2010 is 'back in the day' then I feel old!
BEST SONG OF 7800F
Definitely
nunca debieron dejar de tocar temas del fahrenheit o BJ 84 😰
Bon Jovi FOREVER 💖💖💖
Jon sounds alright here. Why drop this song when they already were performing others that were also hard for him to sing? Always, These Days, Blaze of Glory, In These Arms, I'll Be There For You, even Hey God. I guess they never really liked the first two albums so they didn't put much effort into this song in 2010/2011.
At least we got Let It Rock lol.
I may have only been in high school in 2010/2011 (graduated in the latter year) during the Circle Tour but my opinion is that when you take into account those other songs you mentioned which were hard for Jon to sing after so many years, "Hardest Part of the Night" was pushing it due to the high notes and vice versa, and they already had "Always", etc. I listened to the video twice and it definitely sounded to me like he was struggling with this song so that was likely why they dropped it.
Ohhhh yeah!
Great song
Vamos JON!!!! Sigamos luchando!!! Estamos apoyando. Mí cielo 😍🇦🇷❤️
They should have done this and Silent Night in a show for the circle tour. I know most of the band hates Farenheight but i think it was a great record. Little more edgier and harder hitting than the self titled record.
wow esto si es ORO jon tuvo que haber tocado mucho mas estos temazos
Absolutely love this song ❤
7800° Fahrenheit was my least favorite album from the pre KTF era. But I’m starting to think I may have missed something 😅
Thank you so much for this !!!!
Amazing ❤
Awesome 😍😍😍 thank you...
Thank you!!!
Wow!
Wow thanks man for share
Dam ! I love this 🎉
Love it! Even Jon's voice is not the Best here,. Ay least he tried
Beautiful song! One of my favorites from them. ❤ I read somewhere that Jon didn't like the 7800 Fahrenheit album so it's rare to hear any of those songs performed live. 🥺
None of them cared for the album. Plus it tanked in record sales. It sold more albums after they hit stardom from slippery when wet.
He don't like the album, but this is Jon Bon Jovi's favourite songs from that album.
I heard it wasn't their favorite because it was a depressing record and that when they all had relationship trouble. It was when Jon and Dorothea broke up for a bit. I wish they performed secret dreams and always run to you back in the day. I know it would be hard for him to perform them back in 2010
People hate 7800 Fahrenheit idk bro I like it more than bounce the circle have a nice day and lost highway
One of their best albums
❤
This is from the rehearsals in Seattle.
Thanks! I had that in mind, but really wasn't sure anymore.
my 2nd,s fav songs are
>price of love,only lonely,king of mountain,hardest part is the night,silent night,always run to you,secret dream.
almost all.😊
my favorite Bon Jovi song. He doesn't sound bad here. Its a soundcheck so he is a bit hot in the mix. If it was level'd by engineering he would be fine.
From 7800°F Album... very rare hear in Live Performance... Like Silent Night, Im King of Mountai, Tokyo Road(only once in Tokyo's Live 1988???)
Amen ❤️❤️ amour someday we will all have someone for those lonely nights on a iIsland hmm🌹🌹🎸🍷❤️😘
Class
☑️
Album sottovalutato,peccato però è bellissimo
Is that the same one as the one which has been on youtube for years? Other one is Honolulu.
It's probable that it had been from Honolulu, however, I don't recall any definite information on that. They did have rehearsals in the US before (when the rumours of them actually playing older tracks first came up).
Even then you can hear him struggling…
Hard song to sing
bruh
That's probably the reason why it never made it past the soundcheck.
@@hAnD90 I was about to point out the same thing. Someone pointed out in this thread that there were other songs he was doing that was hard for him to sing; "Always", "These Days", "Blaze of Glory", "In These Arms", "I'll Be There For You", and apparently "Hey God" but this tour was when I was in high school before I fell down the UA-cam rabbithole and found your lovely channel so I'm not that familiar with the setlist from this era. It seems to me that maybe the band felt adding yet another song that was hard for Jon to sing was pushing it since they already had "Always", etc and from what I could tell in the recording of the soundcheck it did sound like this earlier song was demanding for his voice in 2010.
Can he sing that in 2024 in its original key. Probably not.
Flat as no effort
