I’m so hyped for the movie, I’m glad they are pushing for something new while also having references to the older trilogy and original movies as well! This is looking so good!
Not necessarily. They might subvert our expectations by having the villain or a minor character be a descendant of Caesar. Or, maybe none of these apes are related to Caesar and it’s a whole new set of characters. I liked Caesar, but it may be time to move on to different stories.
When you search up Kingdom of the planet of the apes on google, one of the first things you see is the cast of the movie, and the second person on the list is Owen Teague and it says he's playing Cornelius. If Cornelius does end up being in the movie, it might be some kind of flash back to when Cornelius was around and it might connect his story to this one nearly 300 years later.
@@josephrusso4828 I agree with what you are saying but will add that at the end of the day of course it doesn’t matter whether or not he is related to Caesar. 1. Hopefully the movie does find a way to tell the audience about the time jump
2. If it does not, fine by me. I don't care about the opinions of others when it comes to this franchise. I know what I know and frankly it's more than the average viewer
@@WaTsNoTgUdD sadly film criticism has gotten so bad that some people actually prey on people never seeing it to say, "they never explain this subject" but it turns out the movie actually did explain something subtly.
It's just something that's really been getting under my skin.
It's still early, they have plenty of time and at least 2 more trailers to make it clear to the audience what this movie is. I'm not too worried!
Wait Disney is envolved ? 😢
Why on earth would they change the lore if Cesar being revered like a god? Are these not prequels to the originals? Why don’t think that’s a good idea? Haha whyyy
The new movies have never been prequels to the original series. Rise, Dawn, and War are a reboot set in their own continuity.
Mutant humans? Lawgiver?
What if THEY HAVE MULTIVERSE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES?
anyone who thinks proximus caeser is "far gone" doesn't really know bupkus about imian behaviour in the natural world (or in the human world if it comes to that).
say, are these damn monkeys potty trained yet?
If Wes Bell can’t stay after Kingdom, then bring in Andy Serkis to direct the last two!
This is really disappointing news, I was convinced from the trailer that it was Cornelius. My investment has gone down significantly already. I will absolutely be watching this movie but I cannot guarantee the rest.
Simian Revolution is the only solution for evolution 😆😆
War for the planet of the apes was full CGI porn....I don't think the new film will look as good fidelity wise....not a bad thing but if the story is good it won't matter
Why is the villain got caesar in his name wtf
Exactly
The video explained it 3 times.
Disappointing, as someone who watched the originals at the drive-in as a kid, and then was mesmerized by the last three (sorry Marky Mark but yours sucked). I would have loved to see it progress into an extension (not a remake of Charlton Heston) or progression closer to War in a more natural evolution. Doing a standalone is just a new movie without much lore of the Caesar legacy. Some franchises just shouldn't be messed with ... and then to add "Planet of the Apes" is just marketing to fill the seats. My guess it'll be a battle of good and evil with apes (instead of humans) depending on CGI to sell it. I'll probably watch it but ...
"Person"? ah NO! its an Ape and an ape is NOT a person, any more than a dog is person or a person a dog!!
are there any kingdoms of the planet of the dogs?
Moron
Ayoooooo🤣
Why not just call it kingdom of the apes? The title they have is just a mouthful.
"_______ of the Planet of the Apes" is how these movies have been titled since 1970, and that is never gonna change. I don't really get when people say these titles are too long when there are hundreds of other movies with far longer titles that nobody ever seems to mind, but that's just me 🤷♂️
@@Ape-Nationbecause its bad marketing. The average person will end up calling it kingdom of the apes any way. Thats why. Doing things just because thats how its always been done is a recipe for failure and stagnation.
War for the planet of the apes. Is long but not a bad title.
Kingdom OF THE planet OF THE apes. Is overly verbose.
If the last ones had been more than modest box office hits I wouldnt say it was a problem but since they weren’t something as simple as shortening the title is not going to hurt.
#KOTA Date comes out
(easy to drill this in someones head)
Vs
#KOTPOTA Date
(bad marketing)
Yeah that would have been better
@@iamrysheem
Conquest OF THE Planet OF THE Apes
Rise OF THE Planet OF THE Apes
Dawn OF THE Planet OF THE Apes
Nobody has ever called any of these movies "_____ of the Apes."
The franchise is called Planet of the Apes, not Of The Apes. Sorry, but this is just par for the course.
@@Ape-Nation look if you want to stay stuck in the past thats fine with me. Have a great one.
