Love your videos. Love the Adirondacks. No place is rather be !!!! I go every summer I’ve always wanted to go in the fall just haven’t been able to I’d love to go up white face when the leaves have fully turned
I just recently started watching your videos, and I love them. I'm in my first year of solo camping / backpacking. I'd really like to do a 3 day, 2 night trip in St Regis canoe wilderness, working in a trip to the fire tower and some brook trout fishing at the end of April or beginning of May in '25. Is there a beginning canoe you'd recommend the most? Or should I just use the canoe outfitters for my first couple trips. Ideally, I'd like a 2 seater that I could still portage alone.
Welcome to the channel! I'm glad you're getting something out of the videos. Your question about a canoe recommendation is tough without knowing more about what you intend to do with the boat. A visit to a canoe outfitter would be useful none the less. Saint Regis Outfitters in Saranac Lake is very helpful and often has really good used boats for sale. Check them out!

Whiteface in the fall is truly spectacular. Just make sure you pack for all four seasons in case of a sudden change in weather!
