Hasbro's line for the first Jurassic World film 🤮
The buff star Wars figures from '97 were a hilarious miss.
The Robin Hood Prince of Thieves figures were pretty bad. They eve repurposed the Ewok village.
I would add the figures from DEMOLITION MAN as those just pegwarmed the shelves even when they were new.

I didn't know you lived next door to me...I thought a really big dog was crapping in my Memaw's rose bed... It's been Larry all along.
I remember the Willow figures. My brother bought these. Had the set.
There was a point in time where I was obsessed with Indiana Jones and I would've loved having some Indy figures.
I remember seeing HooK Figures still on the pegs in the the mid nineties. They must have made a crap ton of them.
Yes! Me too. Those were the epitome of peg warmers.
I love how Junkman isn't afraid to use self-deprecating humor in his videos.
Gotta go with Star Wars Episode 2 figures, which were basically one-pose statuettes. Many had really stupid "action faces" on them to further add to the cringe. What were they thinking? Luckily they made up for it with really bad-ass Episode 3 figures.
Look at the 3 3/4 Luke Skywalker Throne Room Battle figure that has the lightsaber action yell face. Luke appears to have been give a bad prostate exam or he was tampered with.
Some of the Star Wars Power of the Force figures released in the 1990s were like that.
I remember those, they were the best
That Tee brings back some good memories…
I;d like to offer my support to Larry J Wampa as a union member! Vintage collectors of the world unite.
Unite?? Or untie?? Writers' A I on the loose!!
I had those Willow figurines. 😆 Yeah, they weren't great, but they were all we had, from a movie that I loved when I was 8.
Another great video, didnt know about some of these toy lines lol
Hey! Bump in the Night! :)
Yer dad's jewish lawyer Haha! :)
Mysterymen was an awsome movie, but I've honestly never seen the figures in the stores.
That Ben Stiller figure does look like crap, though.
I love Janeane Garofalo in that, but I like her in just about anything. :)
I don't think that Peter Pan figure looks like Robin Williams at all, but I HAD thought about getting it.
Since you brought it up, I actually thought the Force Awakens figures looked really good back when they came out. I was surprised.
The BATMAN figures and the new Flash movie figures look horrible.
Why can't they do a modern take on Michael Keaton Batman?
This should be easy for today's technology.
Which goes back to what I've been saying is why can't they do good figures for kids to play with?
It's ridiculous.
Thanks for the video
Superman Returns must have been a bad movie because I don’t remember a thing about it other than him stopping a plane from crashing into a football stadium or baseball stadium, I guess? Can’t remember. I watched it, but might’ve blocked it from my memory.
Yeah, that's the best part and it's not really that great. Just a whole humdrum, why bother, unnecessary, uninteresting movie.
Still better than Man of Steel!
Man of steel toys went right into the clearance bins!
Even the dark night stuff didn't do that well, so u can imagine how bad Man Of Steel did!
I still see the Man of Steel toys at a local store near my house at full price
Needless to say nobody is buying them even though the movie is pretty old
Love your Blake's 7!
Don't forget the Demolition Man figures, especially "Edgar Friendly"
I sense Gansta Chewbacca who was written off the show will cross the picket line to come back to write jokes as a scab!
I got Clubber Lang from my aunt for Christmas... and that trailer park looks like the one in New Bern NC 😂
Oh. The figures from the movie "The Phantom" were awful, also I remember "The Shadow" had figures that went straight to the bargain bins.
I was really disappointed with the Willow toys at the time. I've been thinking about picking them up now just out of nostalgia. After the new series I think it's pretty clear the old ones are the only ones we're gonna get...
i’m still waiting on a “life goes on” corky action figure with special time watch that corky never has set right.
Oh, man! Mattel's The Flintsones movie action figures were hideous! Those things are the stuff nightmares are made of.
Hopefully it will all work out like an episode of facts of life where once all is said and done Larry will appreciate his job more and he will stop trying to #cancelthatjunkman.
I can't believe Welcome Back Kotter had figures.
Brandon Routh, the man who played superman in that movie, also played the atom in legends of tomorrow
I had the willow figures and tried playing with them but it didn't work lol
@That Junkman ''Superman Returns'' 2006 was not Brandon Routh's only comic book related role. Routh played the title character in the 2011 action-horror film ''Dylan Dog: Dead of Night''. As well as having a recurring role as the (Silver Age Atom) Dr. Ray Palmer on the TV series 'Arrow''. The Phoenix toys MOTU styled'' ''Rocky III'' action figures are highly sought after. Especially the ''Thunderlips'' figure MOC (Mint on Card).
I had no idea they made Mystery Men figures! And no Captain Invincible?
That Blake's 7 shirt is on point.... 👍😎
What's up with that Mach 5 behind you? Never seen it. Would love some info on it. Thanks for another great video.
From the 90s
Junkman Merch, Pitfall T-shirt looks cool.
There was a figure line based on the live action Flintstones film, that look really horrible.
We need Junkman the movie, and the Action figures sold exclusively at the Dollar store
The trailer park looked like mine after hurricane Francis 🤠
The baggy trunks on the rocky 3..oof
I have a few of the Mystery Men figures in the attic. I don't know why.
Hi, we actually reviewed the Mission Impossible toys in an italian video. You forgot a few lines in my opinion, like Congo from Kenner
Willow figures were plastic, bases were die-cast metal.
Have you ever wondered why there are no Hannibal Lecter action figures for the adult collector? It's because Anthony Hopkins would not license his image to be used for any merchandising. So now I can't buy a blood-smeared Hannibal doll to carry around with me and hold like a teddy bear. Are there any other cases of this that you know about, actors who were stingy about toy companies using their faces?
When you sign over likeness rights, they OWN your likeness rights. Disney can make a brand new Star Wars movie in it while NOT using Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, etc while simply deepfaking their likenesses onto other actors. And they won't have to pay them. Likeness rights has been a sticky issue between SAG and the studios for decades even before deepfake.
There's actually a 3rd party, 1/12 figure that looks somewhat like Hopkins.
I remember the Ghostbusters Actors didn't want their Likenesses Used, That's why even their Saturday Morning Cartoon Characters don't look like them.
Still have most of the star wars playsets and the 12 inch Boba Fett that you have on display in the background. As for worst action figures, posibbly the 1979 Battlestar Galactica line.
Robin Williams played Peter Pan not Robin Hood.
Another sign that we need Larry back.
Strangely enough there was actually a Robin Hood Toy Figure Line based on the Kevin Costner film.
Nice shirt 😊
I was obsessed with the rocky 3 figures. All the other ones I agree😅
@1:10~That's supposed to be Brandon James Routh, as Superman. The real life actor was rumored to be GAY but he married a woman in 2007, actress Courtney Ford.
I actually love 'Hook'. But I still agree; that, 'Mystery Men', and 'Men In Black' deserved better figures! (glad that somebody remembered them though, and that I'm not the only 'MM' fan!) =)
Cheap action figures based on movies never look right to avoid having to pay royalties to the actor/actress (if they get a cut)
Stay until the end fellas for a cameo from Junkdog!
From the UK. Your accent is awesome where abouts in the UK are you from?
I'd replace Superman Returns with the toys from the second Fantastic Four movie
Those things looked cheap, had terrible articulation and broke right when you took them out of the package. Heck, I remember they even SMELLED pretty bad too
Just like Larrys sign evaporated, so did his pay check... 😉
Hey Larry! 😁
New subscriber here. Really enjoyed your video. Terrible action figures for sure! Can't wait to check out more content. 😎🦝👽
I was going to say the clone wars cartoon figures God they were horrible, but i'm going to have to say almost anything done by Disney.
What are you talking about those were the best figures
Amazing detail great articulation and all kinds of accessories
I'd love to hear why you hate them
Nah, they do ok sometimes. The Jawa Crawlers that came out a few years ago was lit! The droid factory too both Disneyland version and the toy store sets
@@wordlesslfiddling They were just that too cartoonish, they didn't appeal to me (although I have the hunt for Grievous battle pack go figure lol) as your reading this i'm kicking myself for not being into them.
I have one of those Disney Indiana Jones figures! 😄
Where's the Alien Toyline?
Seeing how my place of employment has a union to protect us, I am behind Larry the wampas protest.. ✊✊✊✊Hope you guys can reach a negotiation soon..(Equal rights for wampas!!)
Junkman is the best
Those Street Fighter: The Movie figures they made. Lookin' like off-brand G.I. Joes. Those were the worst.
Street Fighter was apart of the later GI Joe lineups back then.
Dog 9:15
Pay Larry a decent wage! 👿
even now they are worst but they are collectable now because of the price.
Yep, some of these are pretty damn depressing...😕👎🏼💯✔️
The phantom movie figure.....the toy itself was so cheap and god it looked sooooo bad.......the only cool thing about it was it came with two metal rings that were replicas of the two billy zane wore in the movie......was rare and hard to find and was gone as quickly as it came.
We never saw him after?! Did you not watch DC’s legends of tomorrow?he was the atom. And his name was Brandon Routh. It’s not that hard.
that why its call a joke :)
@@ThatJunkman but isn’t a joke funny?
Superman returns actor played superman again after the movie.....
I'm the Junk man🥃
DUNE
👍
Sorry, the WORST action figure line based on a movie is the 1996 Phantom action figures. They literally look like a rip-off line of action figures that you'd find in a country like Turkey.
What about The Shadow?
Those were Pretty Bad.
Superman Returns was a crappy movie.
Superman was a Deadbeat Dad in that Movie.
It was Pathetic.
Superman returns (awful movie)his name is Brandon Routh I’ve seen him in only 2 other movies but not as the star
And I'ma start buying my tees from your website...I like your style
Thanks!
Jurassic Park were bad
The guy who was superman (returns) was great as superman. The movie was bad but he was good.
World war Z Brad Pitt figure was terrible.
That must be great for the toy company to make the same toy only with a new add-on.
Bethesda does that with their shitty games.
