Big help brother changed my transmission fluid cuz of you . car runs so much better, and smooth. next time for sure I’m gonna get both filters as well , appreciate it man.
@@Shane_Cordwainerbrother I’m changing my fluid again today, I tried to get my pan open to change the filter but it’s stuck stuck , u got any suggestions
@@razashah121able I did replace that one. I recall there is a little notch protruding from the front of the pan. What I did was put the end of a pipe on the notch and braced it against the frame of the car, and then I used my floor jack on the end of the pipe so it pryed the pan down that way. Might not be the safest way to do it. I replaced it on my friends Insight as well using the same method. Just keep in mind after you remove it, it is going to be a giant pain in the ass to get all the old gasket off. If you don't want to do that method, probably try whacking around it with a rubber mallet.
@@gowthamkumar7772 When the car kind of jerks a few times when you start from a stop. It's a common issue I've seen on the Insight forums. Changing the transmission fluid helps a lot with it.
@@Shane_Cordwainerim thinking of changing the fluid, but will draining remove all 3.25 quarts? I heard some fluid will stay inside and adding 3.25 quarts again will overfill it
@@gowthamkumar7772 You can pour in three quarts and then check the dipstick. Usually I get 3.4 quarts out of it. You'll want to take it for a drive to get it all warmed up after adding the fluid, turn it off and let it sit for like 2 minutes. Then check the dipstick. Should be between the cold and hot line.
Hello, I had my car up on Rhino Ramps. Very convenient, you just drive up on the ramps and apply E-brake plus chock back wheels. I placed the jack stands, for safety, under the lower control arms by the front wheels.

@@razashah121able Are you talking about the internal filter under the pan or the inline one that I showed in the video?
@@Shane_Cordwainer the one in the actual pan, the strainer

But what about filter inside gear box ?
I had a Honda dealership in Easley, South Carolina. Tell me they never replace that filter I think it should have been done..
The in line one? Weird. I even replaced the one under the transmission fluid pan a long time ago.
dont remove the deep stick before you remove the screw mister. that is why you had an oil bath. 6:18

Nice Vid. Gonna change the trans fluid on my insight; I’ve noticed it has been rather jerky.
Yeah helps with the "bunny hopping"
@@Shane_Cordwainerwhats bunny hopping?

Great video! I’m unsure where to rest the car on jack stands… where exactly did you place yours?

Do we really need to change the line filter every time we change gear oil?
@@deancz6170 definitely not, I don't think Honda has a service interval listed for it though. I'd probably do every 50k or so.
Great video. Did you put all four quarts bottles
3 1/2 quarts got me where I needed to be
Thanks for this. Gonna do thia soon
❤
Great video! How many km does the car have? Do you had any problems? I want to buy this model
Bought it at 56k miles and now at 100k miles. Best decision of my life.
Also just routine maintenance like oil change and transmission fluid.
what is the fuel consumption of your car?
Not so good right now, 35mpg. I think the battery being 13 years old has caught up but it's still very reliable.
tasmison filter cvt kam liter
get a big fine where I live for spilling oil like that
I drained it all into the container and then put it into bottles after and recycled it at O'Reilly's after. Not sure what you're on about.
