    Hey Coach Madden. Lately I have been having trouble with the inside pitch. I am 14 and play with my high school and swing a 32/29 bat.. I used to hit the inside pitch well and struggle with the outside pitch. My coach told me to stay inside the baseball when i swing and now I hit the outside pitches better and into right field and the right-center gap. Now, I struggle with the inside pitch. Do you recommend any drills for this. Thanks for the videos and keep up the good work

      Matt A when you see the inside pitches early, pull your hands in outside, pitches have same swing but wait deeper. I had a problem where I struggled with inside pitch, but I made a change by being able to see location early and adjust, when inside pull hands in and turn hips hard that's what I do

      Also, get some work in on the tee for the inside pitch. It won't help you with the timing but you can figure out what feels best and how to get there.

      GOOGLE PITCHERS ANATOMY AND THEN GOOGLE HOW TO WORK OUT THOSE SPECIFIC MUSCLES 💪
      ALSO, USE COMPRESSION BANDS AFTER OR EVEN DURING THROWING SESHS

    Never played baseball before. I’m 30 and I just bought my first dozen baseballs. Even by myself it’s freaking fun. I can throw far, AND fast. Everyone looks at me and either has this hate in their eyes or admiration. I think I’m at around 280ft. Not bad for a noob. What impresses me more is that I think my pitches are actually pretty fast for a noob. I have a lot of time on my hands and now I’m doing around 2-4 hours of throwing and hitting every other day. (Muscles get sore :( hahaha)
    I wish I had someone to talk me into playing baseball in school. Would of changed my life dramatically
    Threw lots of football with little wimps that complained about it being fast, the thing is I also wanted to play tight end so I loved with people threw me rockets too. It’s like people get shy or don’t want me to get better.
    Now every time I’m hitting a ball down a field there is like 2-4 people just hanging around my flight path just waiting to get hit so they can complain or something lol. They will literally lay down in the middle of a baseball field (with four diamond field) and think that a baseball won’t hit them. I’m just saying, they assume that risk or would it be my fault if I hit them?

    My question is what's better for a long throw: on the fly, one bounce, or cutoff man?

    • @jackwheeler609
      @jackwheeler609 2 роки тому

      Imo it depends. The best throw is gonna be a fast throw that nails your target exactly where you want it to. I think a one bounce laser is still more viable than a cutoff man. But if you have to put a lot of air under it or it will bounce multiple times then the cutoff man is gonna be the way to go

    i always end up throwing a lob and being a couple of feet away from the other fielder, pulling them off the bag. its actually embarrassing cause I'm 14 and never played before. I can swing well but it feels like that's all I've got going for me.
