i’ve been playing this ship all day, it’s complete insanity! more often than not i’m getting 8-12 torp hits per game and 80-150k dmg
Nice! Yeah, very solid ship
I love it. I have 100k xp on it already. I wish they had individual stats. I couldn't sleep Sunday night and was up at 02:30 PST. I played almost all day on my day off. LOL, I must have played 30 games on it yesterday. I only went away because of the other ships I had to play for the campaign stuff. I use Bey because He's 16+3. The extra 10ish overall seconds less on torp reload by going with Von Spee (1+2 right now, Id' have to boost him) just doesn't justify getting rid of twist and track. The guns have a terrible rotation. 22 seconds? So having full twist and track and having the radio indicator, for me, way out weighs the torp reload, 1% more stealth, and torp distance.. I'm at 4.9ish concealment right now, that wouldn't even get me to 4.8. But I whole heartedly agree this is the ship any DD main captain has been waiting for.
If I have time to stream tonight I'll check out different builds. Didn't even remember having a perk on Bey that increased detection, which made my morning much more chaotic than I was hoping for 😂
I agree. This is a fantastic ship. Just had six kills with it, amazing ship. I used what I learned in this video. I switched back-and-forth between AP and high explosive rounds and it worked great

I love the T-61 it is my new favourite dd i don't think I have ever been out off the top 3 xp earner on my team since I bought it would recommend to anyone to buy this dd if you enjoy the class..

Not to downplay what Bey can do on this. Certainly can work
I'm also running Bey but using concealment all the way with Jerzy and Sims for survivability but to me it's got Von Spee written all over it and i don't have Gurin for some extra pen but i have 5.4 of concealment for the moment but you're right about this ship of been so versatile for every occasion.
I'm going to try out bey more tonight and bump him back towards a stronger concealment build. Lots of good options for this ship
@@TbullGaming Great and i just recently unlocked the Supremacy Attained trophy after completing the ultimate arsonist and Destroyer Commander trophy. This is my second platinum trophy i earned in a game with Tom Clancy's The Division been the first one.

What's the max concealment on the T-61? With all possible commanders
I got this ship also and love it my first 2 games I decimated the other team the first game I did 80K damage my 2nd game I got 110k and a Kraken. It instantly became my new favorite ship

I absolutely got murdered by this ship last night. 2 vs a Fabuki dead in 15 seconds. 1 vs Mahan I lasted longer but out gunned. I play aggressive flag capturing at the start. 3 games back to back I had a T-61 waiting for me. Time to adjust my play style.
The key is knowing that it presents both a strong gun and torp threat, do you might have to pick your spots on when to engage

Definitely is on US and German destoyers. Much more situational on the others
I'm 100% Spee. As a gunboat it can fight any DD except USN. Having Bey doesn't change that, so I don't see what Bey brings to the table as a SOLO player. If it had a 3rd smoke I might change, it's that close.
It's a strong ship, but in division with a USN DD, using their offensive smokes and Bey, it's monstrous. Like smoking up a Konigsberg.

@Will Kelly Agreed, but German DD's play stronger as a torpedo boats with guns, not the other way around.
@Will Kelly omg you are so right. How could I forget Benson and Fletcher torps when considering a German DD build. I'll never comment again because clearly I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Some games have 4 destroyers on each team. How would you play a game with many destroyers? You will get detected easily! Thanks for sharing your expertise!
As a destroyer in those types of games you want to play the opening few minutes fairly conservatively. Pushing forward beyond the umbrella of protection that your team provides will lead to a quick end. Just try and go forward enough to spot the enemy cruisers and destroyers and then stop advancing
i got 5.4 k sea detection on my Fubuki it,s a great stealth torp boat you can leave BB,s no where to run qnd they eat all 9 torps, sayonara
How does smoke work? Why do I still get detected while In smoke and no plane are live?
Battleships and cruisers can be detected in smoke when firing guns. Check the smoke fire detection range on the ships stats page.
Sonar/radar can spot smoked ships when they are in the detection range.
Ships within 2 km of each other automatically spot each other regardless of cover. T6/7 battleships can increase this proximity detection range to 3 km
If it's not one of those I'd have to see the tape to tell you why
check ship stats. Will list surface, air, minimum and smoke firing detection ranges.
Question: How would you compare this to the other Tier 5 Premiums like De Grasse and Warspite? I know how strong both of those ships are, and this thing seems to be just as good.
You could make a good case for those being the three best in their class of the currently available ones

you shouldn't have let yourself get spotted by the fubuki. also seems it has a larger turning circle than you expected, given the several times you beached while trying to turn, and you need to work more on your torpedo aiming skills.

You shouldn't critique people who didn't ask for random peoples opinions, especially their first two games in the ship. Also seems you think you're an expert and people care what you think, and you need to work on your social skills.

Did they nerf this ship already. My Ap seem to be doing less pen than a few days ago and I am getting out gunned by destroyers I was killing two days ago. Also, I could have sworn my detectability was under 5
Nah they rarely nerf premiums once they are released
Can you compare it to a Gaede or the Maass in 1vs 1
And I think it is more suitable for a domination game mode?
Without being in front of my stats sheet, I think the gun performance is probably about the same as the Maass, minus one gun. The torpedo performance is a lot better on this one though, so that makes it quite strong.
German DDs are very good at contesting caps, so they are more valuable in domination mode

Because I'm rubbish at playing destroyers and that I'm rubbish at using trops I prefer to use mine as a Spotter gun boat
Not sure how I'll run this. My Lv15 +1 Bey can get down to 5.2 detection using Swirski, get the enhanced torp speed without compromising gun reload AND keep the magic radar. However, I usually anticipate having to deal with enemy destroyers first and foremost with this setup.
Bey can definitely do the trick. Not sure what kind of setup I had him running, but a more traditional stealth build can work for him just fine
@@TbullGaming I do have Von Spee also, but my current batch of promo orders are already spoken for so further testing will have to wait. :/ Still, gives me an excuse to take out the Atlanta - I can make loads of money AND punish the padderclubbers at the same time.
Yeah, I have roughly the next 300 promotion orders planned out, and that's assuming I don't get Sims or Madden (which seems like a safe assumption at this point)

I run Bey on the 150mm DDs with Halsey & Gurin as inspirations for maximum AP Lulz

16k DD salvo is like seeing Bigfoot, no one believes you until they see it themselves.
My detection range on the t61 is 5k i think it cap at 4.8
That's running von spee with bey and Swirski as inspirations?
