Interesting question because both answers are right depending on what part of your question you want to focus on. The Royal Navy is quite a bit better in the torpedo department, particularly being able to launch torpedoes at ranges where they aren't detected. The Royal Navy also has pretty good guns, but American DD's will still out-gun them. American DD's shouldn't really have to fear other DD's because the thing they're probably best at is running down other destroyers and shooting them to bits, but they're not really good at stealth torpedo runs.

Watching prerecorded div of you and TBull, who is equally my Favourite CC so please keep up your great vids and I bow to your recent a Historic De Grasse battle a few weeks back....I have the De Grasse and Graf Spee and love them both but am a DD driver this year. Up to Tier CL/CAs and the QE including the lower Tier BBs except most of the Premiums except the Ark FE as I got the Ultimate Founder's pack at release.....5+ years WOTs, 600 Tanks/157 Premiums.....oh yeah, I just started playing WOWs on PS4 too!!!!! See yam keep up the great work you two!!!!
Tictac! Please do a review video on most legendary sea doggo, Chester. 🐶 T-61 works very well for me with Bey, but I'll definitely try out V. Spee once I can spare some promo orders.
@@none3763 Yes, I saw the post on Reddit. From how it was worded, it seemed to focus more on methods of obtainment rather than the actual commanders themselves. Regardless, I wouldn't have had any spare promo orders for a few weeks anyway.

I continue to stand by the Boss Dewey build! Really depends on what you prefer to do though, shoot or torp, because these destroyers lean in very different directions.
@@tacticangel ...I'm not a great DD player, but I find stealth torping comes more naturally...for which I'm grinding up the Japanese. Started the US line a bit late, and am only on the Farragut, but I'm using the time to get better at 1v1 destroyer play, at which the Japanese are not exactly the best... I'm figuring my ability to acquire tier 7 ships will be very limited, so I'm trying to calculate whether buying a Kidd would be a better investment than buying silver to get a Fletcher...still undecided at the moment, but the Kidd's heal makes it attractive in its own right, so...hmm...
Like i told TBull this ship is very versatile but Von Spee is gonna shine more than Bey do to the torpedoes but i don't have him to my specs and got Bey instead with Jerzy and Sims and the HP is well over 16k just in case i get into a brawl but since my concealment is 5.4 for the moment then I'm fine for a hit and run tactics with just torps but i can run Sheer since I have him at level 11 just like Bey and he's running most of my German DDs except the Gaede, Z23 and the T61 but when they release the Z39 that's automatically for Bey but when I get Von Spee to my specs then i remove Sheer from destroyer detail and get ready for the Ashitaka BB because its coming next Monday. Its essentially an early version of the Amagi but for tier 6 just like Mutsu.
Very cool!!! Could you do a Charles Martell review?!? Jus got it.. the thing is Beast!!! Best tier 7 cruiser in the game IMO... Martell,Da Grasse..cream of the crop for French cruisers...
Having never played a DD I probably should of watched your video Frist as I have just bought this DD yesterday but haven't dared take it in to a standard battle yet just AI

Great informative video as always cmdr 07. So does the extra reload time of the torpedos make up for the lesser gun power in your opinion? 🤔 And I agree that a destroyer who spawns at B there, it’s vital that they contest that cap from the start if not capture it 👍
@@tacticangel No reason to sail the Gaede if you have this beast, the vids here on youtube from pc sailors are quite revealing, its a beast no ifs ands or buts about it. Me likey, me likey a lot, kinda have to have one. Nice battle also sir.

Is preset 1 and 2 better than the normal preset? Tbull says no because of gun lock, but preset 1&2 have overview camera and projectile cam
I'll ask him tomorrow, but gunlock doesn't seem like much of an advantage with the improved overview camera

I'm playing this to get the new winter missions done and I'm enjoying the torpedoes they return quite quickly which is a big bonus
I won this in the crates was shocked when I saw I had won it. It is an amazing boat to play super fun

I'd say the T-61 is stronger than that Gaede in most hands
After watching the whole video, that pretty fast torpedo reload does look pretty sweet, plus the extra earnings etc from being a premium 👍
