I attempted the DougDoug TotK challenge, but in the Depths

- TO EVERYONE IN THE COMMENTS TALKING ABOUT THE SIMPLYSNAPS METHOD, I KNOW.
I tried doing the thing where you save, die, and then reload the save to stop burning. However, any area where climbing was required (which was a lot), the method is useless. That's why I decided to go with the armour instead. I hope you all understand, and thanks for the support on the vid!
In my last line video, I crossed the entire Tears of the Kingdom map in a straight line. However today, we're changing it up by heading beneath the surface, and doing the challenge there. This one was recommended by a bunch of you guys, so I hope you enjoy!

Impossible without zonal devices
That is too easy you could just cross the entire sky in every place in the sky without trouble bc the sky is empty
And actually thats impossible without breaking some rules like no zonai devices and no charge battery.

There is actually a theoretical workaround for the death mountain area. As demonstrated by SimplySnaps in her "100%ing the Depths without leaving" challenge, dying from extreme heat and reloading places Link on the last piece of solid ground he stood on, meaning that you can run through the area while saving right before dying, and then just waiting for it to reload and keep going. Though with all the climbing required, and needing to hop across lava pools, I'm not sure it'd be completely possible.
Yeah, that was actually something that I playtested a bit. But like you said, the lava pits and climbing made it impossible sadly :(

@@RyluRocky There are only two chu chus in the depths and both are in chasm underneath hyrule castle. Ice Chu Chu's offer protection against heat not flames :)
@@TheOfficialGuinta I actually had two Blue ChuChus spawn out of the ground in the Depths not too long ago. I think it was somewhere in the northwest area of the map.

Jk, in seriousness I was very excited when I saw this uploaded. I did suggest the route, but I was still unsure on how to actually cross it, so it was interesting to see. I wasn't sure about the lava, but using the ice items from earlier was really clever, and wouldn't have been possible if you did it the other way.

this was a very well produced and entertaining video!
I want to see a diagonal line. The hardest part will be tracking it as you go. But it would be the longest line possible. It would be great if you were able to stick to one step east followed by one step north or one step west followed by one step south the entire time (or vice versa). I think the aesthetics of that straight diagonal line would look badass

I don't know if it still works in TOTK, but BOTW had a "bug" where when you began the spin attack on a two handed weapon, it would stop Link from burning. Makes me wonder if you really needed the armour. Not that I would want to try.

I wonder, if there isn't a possibility of there being a path/line from left to right, almost at the bottom of the map too? There are some narrow passages, but it could be doable (and there would be a lot less lava in the way).

I find it odd, but a top to bottom line on the left of th map might be doable. If you squint at the number and squeeze along the two wall points. (Extremely unlikely though given there is that one point of wall in the middle saying no to that.)
You can actually go through death mountain by dying repeatedly and saving just before you do. It’ll reload you exactly where you saved

Have you seen point Crow’s line? Doug challenged him to a lying battle. When he made his video you’d be the total underdog you need to be in it to have a three-way battle.

You dont need fire protection, you can just die. If you save and die to fire, you respawn where you saved at full health
If someone does this challenge without armour or stamina, that one would be the best.
