I have always pulled for Scott Martin no matter what. His Father was my Hero as a child. I would sit and stare at Old Bassmasters Dreaming of Fishing for a Career. Life and Bad Decisions took me in a Different direction but Bass Fishing is still in my Blood. I do not fish anymore but I fish through Scott. Scott is going to Win a Bassmster Classic. Just look at the Comtribitions his Family has made to this Great Sport. Gotta Happen. Oh By The Way Throw thise Computers aka Depth Finders Off those Boats and Lets See Who has the Juice Boys. A Gifted Angler like Scott does not need them.

I appreciate it but I put my rods down. I had to sell Everything I ever worked for to defend myself and gain custody of my Daughter. I had no idea of the evil I was married to. I walked out with a 3 yr old in my arms and $500 to my name. Its been hard getting my material things back. It spent $170,000 in attorney fees to fight to be in my child's life. I have been a union electrician for 27 yrs. Hopefully God will see me in a Bullet Bass Boat again and all my stuff back. However a Lifetime of Material things adds up and things are expensive these days. Tbh if all that kept me from being a Father to my Daughter. I wouldn't have it.

When I started this video i wondered why it was so long just for day 1&2 of a tournament. I didn’t realize we were getting such a hilarious raid day in between day 1 and 2. I’m glad we did though it was a really good laugh!!! Thank you SMC crew I needed that!

For a long time I've thought he had been utilized for more than his jerky, esp going back to the years Missisquoi Bay and the surrounding area were the HOT areas. His knowledge of our lake, esp inland Sea/northern end is immense and again VERY COOL to see this and the look on your face when you mentioned the help his jerky (wink wink) have provided over the years. It's more than just live scope. It's that all these spots have been disclosed. There's no more secret honey holes, no secret techniques or baits. Everything is being shared at such a fast pace. The game of fishing has changed for better or for worse

Scott, I've binged watched quite a few of your videos, it's the hookset. you need to use the same hookset that you use when fishing for them Lake Okeechobee monsters, you're setting the hook like you're using a circle hook. I'm telling you for a fact that's the difference between you landing more of those bigguns and wanting to snap your rods and swear. At 1:14:20 he has a spinning rod with silver reel. What are those rod and reel setups. Are those Medium action 8’ rods and what reels. I think it’s a 6’10” JVD jackhammer spinning rod made by Favorite. I love the way it bends and seems to hold fish tight.

Scott do you use a cutting style hook or a needle point? I dont fish for Smallmouth here in Alabama much, but i do predominately catch spots off the coosa and have found i have 10 to 1 pull off if i use a cutting style hook rather than a needle point. The one i do catch in the lips with a cutting hook normally have a giant hole and with a needle they do not. Now if i catch yhem in the roof of the mouth it doesn't seem to matter.

Scott, do you think this is the strongest field BASS has ever had? I personally do, there have been legendary anglers in the past, but top to bottom its the strongest. i feel that any tournament could be won from at least 70 guys
Livescope gives anyone a chance, on any lake, at anytime....skills, techniques, and talents aren't too important anymore...Tournament results are showing this to be accurate
