Imp stewie's play does not have the luck-factor like coldzera's 4K or s1mple noscope. That's why Valve didn't add a graffiti for him. It was a phenomenal moment for C9 though

I was in the military when this game was played. We werent allowed phones on even when lights out. But I hid under my covers and watched it holding my breath. My battery ran out *JUST* as Tarik made the last round of first OT into a 2v1 for cloud9. I was so pissed that my battery died, but at that point I was positive C9 won the round after Tarik killed 2. Little did I know the game went into another OT! Good memories. Stewie's B hold to force OT and James' commentary over it will always give me chills.

Watching live was scary, but what was even crazier was I watched it in person. The video doesn't give justice to how loud the crowd actually was. Of all the sporting events I have ever been to, that was the loudest by far. I've never had more chills than watching the final map and seeming them win.
I was watching this live and the energy of the crowd was crazy! Cloud 9 is just pure skill. I love watching them because the varieties of skill that they have and the effort they put on each match they play.

I watch this match so often just to see round 30 all over again. The crowd noise, the commentary, and the play by Stewie is just so beautiful. I get chills every single time it gets to round 30.

Gavyne Damn Olof was gone in Inferno. Guardian was the only carry for Faze.
Alexander Olof had 25 kills. GuardiaN had 29. so no carry.

If stewie won that clutch with an ace to win the major, it would have been the greatest storyline ever. The first NA major is won, with a clutch by a heavy underdog player, and team. A player no one thought could make it as a pro, and to force ot, and to win that round would have been incredible. It still is a great storyline and victory, but that could have been the cherry on top of a great fucking cake.
Then again it feels fitting that the veteran skadoodle made the final kill against one of the world's best AWPers.

As a sports person, (and gamer) Even though I've competed nationally in sport, I could never imagine the pressure/excitement these guys felt in the INSANE final.

wesleysuperman csgo maybe a simple game but it has such a high skill ceiling. the game is more about strategy, intelligence, and ofcourse reaction time. a millisecond can potentially change the outcome of the whole match.

Ive been playing sports for a long time and also competed in mid amateur csgo tournament when i was 16 (now 20), the feeling is insane, coming up for ur team in hard rounds or getting out of desperate situations. Its an experience one must feel. I can’t imagine playing on such stage with such crown and with that much money on the line nonetheless (500k$ for 1st)

I've watched this so many times and the excitement watching this always feels like the first. Not a better time to watch for nostalgia while I wait for cs2 to release :)
Watching this in 2024 and oh how good it was to see Tarik shit all over Guardian like that at the time. Still feels good.
