Calling Sinn Sisamouth as the Elvis of Cambodia is an understatement by a long stretch. He was like Elvis, the Beatles, the King of Pop Micheal Jackson, Elton John and many others combined. In fact, he had recorded more songs than all of the above singers combined, by the thousands. He defined the Khmer music then, now, and forever. If I have the power to bring the 2 of the dead people back to life, the first one would be him and the second how be him again, just in case he dies the second time.

We should not compare Mr. Sisamouth with another great singer. There is no comparison. I like to think of him as the only one just like the magnificent Prasat Angkor Wat.

I wish I can see this! His music is one of a kind and everytime I hear it, it takes me to a wonderful time of when my dad was alive. Thanks for making this to show the newer generation of real soulful music, and letting the world about khmer culture, without being reminded that we had only genocide.

And also the government should build a Giant Statue of him holding a microphone , so people could take a elevator ride and walk around inside the microphone

I agree. He definitely deserves some type of recognition and I like the idea of a giant statue of him singing.

I believe this will be and could be done as there is always hope and strength in building this documentary. I hope I get to see it myself. Because I am a fan of all Khmer oldies songs and I can see and feel everything from all the music I listen to from Khmer Oldies. But I do hope to see this documentary. But it'll be undortunate if I can't because of region measures but I always pray and hope we all can all work together peacefully to bring this documentary together.
