"Surely he won't mount that new drier in that rusty old bracket..." I say to myself as I realize why my RRC is forever disassembled 😭😆. Very envious of your practicality! Good work!
Haha! I know the perfectionist in me screams every time I do something like that. Though I constantly have to remind myself done is better than not done 😅
Interesting.....I in FL with a 95 RC and gotta figure out why im not impressed with the AC. I had it recharged but it still struggles to blow ice cold air. Might be time for a new compressor and dryer. Need to look into a larger unit if possible. They sold these things in the Middle East....so there has to be a solution. I also heard that the LWB have another condenser/blower for the rear?
Another great video dude! My 95 is coming out of paint and carpet in a week or two. Half of my garage looks like a RRC supermarket with shelves of new/restored parts down to new decals/trim etc. Blue RRC's are the best! Im pulling out a tan carpet set that is in great condition. Let me know if you want it....its yours for the cost of shipping. I dont know if a 95 carpet set will work on your year or not.
Cheers dude! Thanks for the praise. Ive got some carpet in the cockpit already, but I’ve got plans to build out some storage/sleep/work space in the truck bed this coming year
just an adapter to switch to r134? so, does it work, after all? I've read that R134 molecules are much smaller compared to those of the original refrigerant. So, you have to replace all the o-rings (including those on the radiators), or the leaks are unavoidable. Besides, you have to flush the system to remove old oil (which is incompatible with I don't know what)
Well hello again! Time to get back to work 😌

Yeeeeeaaaa...that whole "no AC thing" would have lasted about 1 week in Atlanta 🤣
Hahahah! Yeah I imagine if I was still living down in Georgia I would have been in rough shape. This summer in Chicago was just my final straw 😂
I've had a 93 and a 95. The AC in the 95 is so much better. Thank goodness since I live in Georgia.
Best improvement I’ve ever done! Worth it for sure 😂

Where’s your dog? I hope he’s ok.
I hope to see a follow up video of the AC blowing ice cold. 😁👊🏼
Hey Scott! He’s good. Just realized he didn’t make a cameo in this one. I’ll have to rectify that for the next one hah!

System was flushed. Replaced the compressor and expansion tank to work with R134. Adaptors came from autozone.
