  • well today isnt like any other day,
    Its not everyday you get to go to a premium precision rifle manufacturing facility,
    and even less to get full factory tour of Cadex defense (thanks Patrice!)
    So I got up early that day 8am, I rarely do, got up and drive 2 hours away to a town in Quebec Canada called Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
    My goal going to Cadex was to do some interviews on their full rifle lineup and learn, learn about what makes Cadex defense different? what makes them a premium rifle manufacturer, what kind of material and tools do they use. After meeting with them seeing the Research and development teams working there meeting their lead engineer, yes they even took him away from his work to meet me and discuss one of my projects, It really was a amazing experience.
    So in this first segment, were going to go over the rifles, the CDX R7, the CDX40 and the CDX50, yes there's a CDX 30 but no we didn't have it out! also I really wanted to see the new Seven Stars Pro, for those of you who don't know Cadex came out with this new action/chassis Combo tat has tons of really neat features, for one on the chassis the grip moves forward and back, its got all the bells an whistles bt you will have to see the rest of the in the video.
    originally I was going to do one full length video, but compiled that would end up being 40 minutes long... so 3 segments it is!
    in the next segment we take the factory tour!
    enjoy!

    I own two Cadex rifles. R7 carbon hunter 338 Lapua and the CDX-50 Tremor both in storm trooper white. My opinion they are the best rifles made. Severely under rated!!! Bolts are Smooth as warm butter. Quality, hands down perfection!!! And I own a lot of rifles. Nothing beats Cadex in my opinion.

      I was considering the Strom trooper white. I'm curious how does the finish hold up, do you regret the white

      @dustinbutler6317 the cerakote finish holds up very nice, and once the finish is worn down you can go to a cerakote dealer and get refinished

    Glad to see this didn't know they existed until I ordered from a sports store and got a catalog from them which had them in it. Also these are the only videos I've seen about them.

      yeah, they don't invest as heavily on marketing as some other companies do, but they still are doing great with a 4-6 month backlog of orders and pretty big factory.

      @@EpikArms i think a big reason for that is, if you can afford their guns, it is because your in the industry, and if your in the industry, you know cadex. Kind of like accuracy international etc. such high quality guns for money so ads probably wouldnt bring them that much more revenue, so not the best ROI on marketing costs.

    Any chance you have any recommendations for range finders or ballistic apps?

    • @EpikArms
      @EpikArms  2 роки тому +1

      Hmm. I use a kestrel occasionally. But I don't use any apps.and for a range finder I use a sig kilo2400bdx. It work well enough at 1200m

      @@EpikArms cool. I have a ballistic trajectory calculator in website form but an app would be more convenient. I'm going to try it out Wednesday to see if it's close. Taking the newly upgraded Savage MK2 out for its maiden run at the 200 yard range. It's giving me 25" of drop at 200
