She turned out so enchanting! I get the same way with needing to balance imagination and references. Too much imagination and my art starts turning cartoony and I start struggling with anatomy, but too many references and I get too reliant and stop having fun! Your process with layering and modes with the skin is different than mine, so I am always amazed to watch how it progresses. The skin always turns out so pretty the way you render it ❤
