Installing Kuryakyn Hypercharger Vulcan 900 Part 2 of 2

- This is part 2 of 2. Replacing the stock (It had an aftermarket cover) air cleaner/filter box on a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic. I replaced it with a Kuryakyn Hypercharger. It also came with a mounting bracket that you have to order separate from the Hypercharger. The Hypercharger is made to go on the bracket, but every bike needs a different bracket. Sorry I don't have info anyhow on what the exact part numbers. I shot this video over 2 years ago and didn't realize I had marked private.

I wanted to thank you for all the maintenance vids you've made on these bikes, I've learned a lot from watching you work and I actually managed to make my bike not-worse after doing some routine maintenance for once!
it looks like it covers 50% of the intake, so I am curious about how much extra air flow you *really* get
Hey, just saying. The flapper is supposed to be closed and only open when you use the throttle. Took mine apart trying to figure out to get it back the way it actually works.
I didn't really notice any change in either power or fuel economy. But it's nice being able to wash that filter out instead of replacing it all the time.
no more power? thanks I will skip it.
@@TheTriplelman not without a digital tuner
You can go for a K&N filter in the stock housing
Does the air temperature sensor port need to be directly in the air flow? Looks like it will take the temperature for the air outside the box?
Awesome ! I want one !
Do you need a tuner after adding this?
Yes, it is helpful. I had a Cobra Fi2000R, but they probably have better ones out there. I think they make some that are more automatic versus the one I had you had to use these little dials to change things.
Any tips for installing the 2 mini screws into the housing? When disassembled the screws thread perfectly in the housing. When assembled and trying to tighten mini screws. They won't grab threads. Any input is appreciated.
Sorry I'm not sure. It's been awhile, and I don't have it anymore.

Okay thanks. I'll probably get replacement screws that are a bit longer.
Muy bonito dónde se puede comprar o que modelo es
Hey, please let us know the model number for this Hypercharger
Do they add power that you notice
Hey buddy do still have this bike?
Yes I do. You wanna buy it?
Eli Gaffke was the bike that bad?
That is a big waste of money. No performance benefits at all.
@@theo9811 yeah came to find that out more later, having the FI tuner helped. I liked the looks a lot more than the aftermarket cover that came with the bike.
Sorry but it seems like a grown kid toy to me, I can't understand the benefit... I might be to European! 8D
