Nick and Jodi react to a English Comedian named, Peter Kay. He talks about how songs have lyrics that sound a lot like other random words or phrases. This is very funny.

Peter Kay is a national treasure and one of the best UK comedians
2 more lamb bhunas here....
His friend from not far away in Liverpool, sir Ken did was another legend who sadly passed a few years ago. 🙏
I'll correct you.....
'The' best UK comedian
Debatable. I've got, in no particular order, as my favourite top 3: Lee Evans, Lee Mack, and Billy Connolly @@Alhaitham.947
And he never resorts to negative humour. It's always uplifting. Which I think is harder to do.
The thing about this is that you can not "unhear" it, so next time you hear the song......yup, it is changed for the rest of your life 😆
Yep😂
“Pork pie.” Every time i hear that song.
True, I hear it every time now
4:34 "can't believe it can ya? Should have been on here" Michale Jackson was supposed to be the performance but he died that week. They got peter Kay to fill in for the evening
That's not true he was supposed to be performing but Peter Kay didn't step in he was already booked
Jackson died in June 2009.
This is it Tour was due to start in July 2009.
Peter Kay started his tour in April 2010, in Manchester, which is not where this was.
He did 20 dates there and that was suppose to be the end.
However, due to high demand, he agreed to do further dates around the country. This recording was at the O2 in London, well over a year after Jackson died and a few months after Jackson's tour would have ended.
What you stated is an Internet myth!
Peter did say "he should've been on here" regarding Michael Jackson before he died and that part is presumably true, it is just that some people made the wrong assumption about exactly what he meant by that.
Peter Kay doesn't fill in for anybody
Peter Kay is a very funny man. His stand up shows are always great, but he has done a lot of shows for TV that are equally hilarious 😂. I have seen this clip many times and still find it as funny as the first time I saw it. Keep up the good work.
Peter is a genius and very much loved by all
Peter has a near encyclopaedic knowledge of popular music, combine that with his charming non-aggressive personality and perfect comedic reactions and you'll understand why he is so treasured here in Britain.
I saw that live back in the day and it was incredible!!!💥💥💥💥💥💥
I'd go to Peter Kay's Bullseye skit next... It describes the classic show perfectly...
Peter Kay was born and bred in Bolton, Lancashire - (the part now known as 'Greater Manchester , since the powers that be moved the borders ) . Boltonians were also Very proud to number Sir Fred Dibnah - steeplejack, as one of their celebrities. Bolton is also my home town. They both speak / spoke with a natural, though broad, Bolton accent.
Phoenix nights, family fun day. Peter Kay and his mates at their very best !!
Peter is amazing, he has a few worth checking out, Weddings, School Reunions and Trip to the Dentist are almost pretty good clips as is the Dogging clip from his sitcom Car Share
The power of suggestion is amazing in his comedy
The master of comedy in the UK you definitely need to watch more Peter Kay. He is incredibly talented, so much so tickets for his shows sold out in minutes
Popular doesn't equal good
I'm pretty sure the tape recorder is just a prop; but as you say, the timing with the sound guy is spot on. He's equally accurate when playing the shovel guitar.
I love Peter Kay and we were both brought up in Bolton England...he is a brilliant comedian with a massive following...enjoy!!!
I was also born and lived in bolton not far from peter, excellent comedian👏👏👏👏
Daubhill people
@@lynne1461 started there, ended up tonge moor👍
The accent is Lancashire - Peter is from Bolton Lancashire ! His car share videos are hilarious - well worth a watch !
I can really recommend the compilation of Peter's shows..especially the one where he plays rock n roll on a shovel! Spectacular ending!!
The thing is, when you hear the actual song on the radio you cannot help but sing Peter Kay's lyrics!!!😂😂😂🇬🇧
I saw him in Dublin's it's sorta the same cause his family is originally from here he added bells n bows lol he is fantastic if he goes to USA go see him he's mad n brill , oh your reaction was class I love it 🇨🇦🇮🇪🇬🇧🇺🇲 ☘️☘️☘️☘️
Love Peter Kay🇬🇧
Local boy and a genius...
We love our Peter...
Observation humour and he literally is the best ever..
Not just that, anything he does is funny.😁
Thank you for exposing yourselves to the king of earworm creators. I can't hear ANY of the songs in this routine anymore without hearing his words.
Sooo happy you did Peter Kay .Brilliant 🇬🇧
I just LOVE to watch this lady`s reactions when something unexpected comes into Petr Kays Lyrics. There are times when she is not sure whether she should be shocked or amused by what she is hearing. This couple are sheer joy to watch.
If you're taking requests....Micky Flanagan, Demise of Fingering and Lee Evans, broken down car...both are hilarious
I love the "auditory hallucination". In french songs, we have also a lot of "auditory hallucination" that is really funny. Peter Kay used it so well.
The Michael Jackson part is before he died, Michael was booked for a show on that stage. Kay paid respect with the cross and the he should have been here line was a reference to him being dead and not able to perform there
Hey there👍I've no idea if you go over comments in old videos but I've recently subbed to this superb channel and I'm (slowly) going through your playlist, this was a great reaction to Peter, regarded as a lagend in the UK very family friendly. Absolutely not Boring reviews, the lady has a great laugh and you both look interested and seem to enjoy your vids, nice work guys👏👏✌️🍻
Being a fellow Mancunian as the great Peter Kay, I first saw him when me and my hubby ran a pub opposite the club where Peter first started as a comedian on Oldham Street in Manchester. He's absolutely the best
Pity he's a Boltonian, born in Farnworth.
I know, but what's 20 miles +/-🤣@@neildoherty9556
2:56 - "Just let me state for the record" --- had to look it up ;)
He doing his first tour in 12 years, I'm hoping he'll release a DVD.
Seen this so many times, and now it's taken to a new level, I cant wait to see the reaction, videos, because I just know this will appeal to all folks internationally. 😂😅 His a master at work just the best.
I really needed a good laugh today. Thanks for sharing your energy. It made my day.
The legend, that is, Peter Kay.
One of the all time greatest comedy bits.
The last song, comment afterwards ends here with, ''I can't even see mine let alone kiss it'' In other pieces I've seen, there is a small addition, ''I can't even see mine let alone kiss it. I've got a balcony over the toyshop!" This man is a mine of comedy and is probably one of the best if not the best comedy show of our time. Thank you for what you do.
Thanks. I've heard balcony or verandah being used similarly but yes, the joke and punch line is lost because everyone is using the same edited video to do their reactions.
You two are great love that video and your reactions were fab.
Dave Allen is a good one. Look at either...Religion, Adam an Eve or Teaching the kids the Time. Brilliant reactions from you both, keep going.
Teaching time 😂🤣
Peter Kay's from Bolton which is relatively close to where I currently live in East Lancashire and his accent is easy for me to understand even though I'm originally from Plymouth. I've watched this clip loads of times before but it's always hilarious to watch it again especially when I see Americans reacting to it for the first time.
Other British comedians you should watch and react to are Lee Evans, Michael McIntyre, Larry Dean and the double act of Armstrong & Miller. You might have to have your subtitles switched on for Larry Dean because he has a very broad Scottish Glaswegian accent. Michael McIntyre is renowned for being able to switch accents sometimes in mid-sentence so you'll probably be able to understand him without much problem. Lee Evans is just foul-mouthed but the imitation that he does of his wife is just hilarious.
Armstrong and Miller used to have their own show on the B.B.C. and their 'chav' World War II British pilots are hilarious because they're very posh but speak in modern 'street' slang. Their take on Gordon Ramsay as well as their Predictive Text Commission and their version of 'Who Do You Think You Are?' are all really funny.
On the plus side all of them have videos posted on UA-cam so you shouldn't have too many problems accessing any of them. ✌😁✌
Thanks!
It's great to see the lady on the right laugh out loud. I've watched a few of your Lee Evans clips today, but this is the first I've seen her actually laughing out, even at the more "crude" jokes 😂
I am old enough to remember the Bobby Gentry song " I'II never fall in love again " coming out. The very first time i heard it i thought she is not singing "phone" there.
You need to see Billy Connolly the Dwarf on a Bus absolutely fantastic
Bill Bailey is another one to check out for comedy and music.
Your eyes overrule your ears, you SEE him say bone so you hear it, close your eyes and hear it, it's phone. I'm not criticizing, it's genius.
glad you loved Peter Kay he is amazing Id also recommend checking out Michael Mcintrye so many good sketches the wii fit the man dryer and people without children have no idea are all side splittingly funny and i just subscribed as your reaction videos are good
His Guess Who Died bit is funny too.
Gabriel Iglesias "Gift Basket"
Jeff Dunham "Meet Achmed The Dead Terrorist" "Walter the Weatherman" any of his stuff actually.
You guys really need to check out Sarah Millican. There are full standup routines and some compilations - she is great!
Also Greg Davies standup is awesome!
Just suscribeded love your reaction x
You must do Freddie Starr . Vincent routine . Don McLean song . You'll be in tears with laughter . Aswell as a grt comic he's also a grt singer , especially doing Elvis songs The Girl Of My Best Friend he did with the Jordonaires who were the backing group for Elvis in 50s
My favourite clip of Freddie's is from Parkinson, when he is telling the great Muhammad Ali a scary story. Absolutely hilarious, and who he did it to makes it even funnier.
Love Your Metaphors T-Shirt.
I agree, Peter Kay is a national treasure. Been on our tv for donkeys
'Trip to the Dentist' is worth checking out.
The VOIDRAKER SAYS YES. :-):-)
Love this reaction 🤣😂😍👍👏🏻👏🏻🇬🇧
Ill tell you, once you watch this then listen to the songs, you can't, I repeat CAN'T unhear it 😂
Love this guy, an amazing comedian ❤ 😂😂😂😂😂
I recommend any stand up by Rhod Gilbert. One of his great bits is on trying to buy a single baked potato.
Just let me state for the record is what they sing.. Peter Kay is brilliant
Michael McIntyre is brilliant, especially people with no kids, or the dentist
I also thought Celine Dion was singing about hot dogs - no lie 😂😂
The reaction to Michael Jackson was genuine and MJ was due to play the same arena not long after Peter was on only for the news of his death to come through.
there are lots of Peter Kay his Shovel guitar is amazing
The Michael Jackosn bit was about him playing the 02 in London for a 50 night residency but he passed away before it could happen... Also the English look at MJ like he's a God... Just to claify why he did the sign of the cross then sat down looking sad...
Proud to say he’s From my home town in fact I served him in my shop just the other day 😆 legend
Oh great you have done it 👍
I really like the fact that you listened all the way through without stopping every couple of minutes. Try Billy Connolly….There’s one in every town….
Thanks. And we will
Hard to do clips of Billy Connolly, though, because he rambles to the punchline, and the journey of him getting to it can be just as funny, if not funnier @@BoringReviews
You guys should react to a sketch called Dehli Belly with British comedian Micky Flanagan. The live version. Enjoy.
Peter Kay is a God ❤
its actually let me state for the record, but it sounds like staple the vicar
Folks, you should check out our classic comedy duo,The Two Ronnies. Popular here in the 70's & 80's,with harmless wholesome comedy sketches. I suggest starting out with The sweet shop (candy store) sketch or the Racing Pigeon sketch
Frankie Boyle... Jimmy Carr...mock the week....lots of awesome stuff to choose from
The first one is actually 'just let me state for the record' and the Bobbi Genrty one is 'after you do he'll never phone you. the last one is 'I can't believe you kiss your car goodnight'. Peter is amazing. If you haven't already check out Billy Connelly, Lee Evans, Michael McIntyre and Gary Delany. Some of Delanys are very rude so hope you're thick skinned. Links below

ua-cam.com/video/eC6eHraeMes/v-deo.html (Micheal)
Must watch Peter Kay playing the shovel
I've misheard sooooo many lyrics. Lol 😂
You got to look at Lee Evans foams x
Always loved his tours names like my mum wants a bungalow tour what he did buy for his mum with the tour money
Next up: Catherine Tate “offensive translator” 😜
Rhodes Gilbert on Luggage is brilliant
Check out Lily Savage, played by Paul O'Grady
A Vicar is like a priest in the UK
That’s right. Thanks for the help
Al Murray next.
One of our greatest stand up comedians here in the UK. So many wonderful routines, including 'Guess who died'. It'd be great if you check out some more of his hysterical routines for us. 🙋♂ Thanks guys!
Ok. Two tips for you since you obviously like British comedians. Dehli Belly with Micky Flanaghan and Colonoskopy with Scottish comedian Billy Conolly are both hilarious. Have fun.
Even Celine sings hot dogs to that song that did more damage to the Titanic than the iceberg every now and then...
Check out Peter Kay, Dogging 😂😂😂
he didn't even give his version of the lyrics for the "piss myself" part, the song just sounds so much like piss myself that he just had to play it
Michael Jackson was supposed to perform at that theater that night.
Excellent guys, try his wedding clip or try mickey flanagan delhi belly..
It's a little old but Jasper Carrott - Insurance claims is still pretty funny.
In my opinion Peter Kay is the GOAT.
Hi guys you should react to the Irish comedian Dave Allen teaching your child to tell the time
Great shout 😀👏🏻🇬🇧
Check out some Harry Enfield sketches, especially the pharmacist sketch, hilarious
Not going through the comments but “ just let me state for the record.” Is whats being sung. But I’ve always heard staple the vicar since I first heard the song. There are plenty of other songs that I’ve misheard the lyrics besides these ones.
Try reactng to Welsh comedian Rhod Gilbert - lost luggage, it's hilarious!!
I think Peter had been storing these up over his whole life and then eventually had enough of them to do a set. If you have a funny mind and you're looking for fun, you'll find it in unexpected places.
Try Mock the Week Comedy Show UK program and Scottish Comedian Frankie Boyle !
Phoenix nights is one to watch
She says let me State for the record
We have 2 goats of stand up Peter kay and Lee Evans 👏
You should try Roy Chubby Brown.
The Bobby Gentry song the word was phone not bone her biggest song was ode to Billy Joe
