Holy crap, this song is so cool. Sounds like it was pulled from the guts of the mid nineties and could be played as a soundtrack to the recap of my teenage years on film.
This reminds me of Mazzy Star A LOT! But I love it.
...AND I love it
this is my all time favorite song
these guys are fucking gnarly. the lead singer exudes cool
I love her voice and the use of echo and reverb, yes it conjurs Mazzy's Fade Into You which is probably what I love about it, but also there is some depth here in the crescendo and breaks that grabs the heartstrings..
Nailed it.
🎶🎶You abuse the ones who love you
You abuse the ones who won't
If you ever had a real heart
I don't think you'd know where to start🎶🎶
I came here never hearing this song before! But it was on a game I was playing on the PC...the game is called "Tell me why"! The game is awesome like this song is.
GORGEOUS. I would so buy this on CD. Hell, I would buy it twice.
masterpiece so melancholy song !
Love it, amazing coming across music long ago ❤
Heard the intro on Orange. Was sure it was mazzy. Much alike.
Caught a couple harmonies from their inaugural release in there at the end
wouaou !!! wonderful thanks from Switzerland !!!
Brilliant love the band sound lead singer voice sultry..
Very good version of the song... From France.
LOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
My favorite version! And the bass player reminds me so much of Kristen Pfaff....
This is AMAZING!
Brilliant.
Best of best
Superb
Tell Me Why Chapter 3 🖤
El ritmo me recuerda a mazzy star, aunque cada quien tiene un estilo único, es una buena canción
Wow

better version than the album
2019?
No, it's 2020.
the recording is from April 2014
No 2021 but who gives a shit?
It’s funny how Alt rock hasn’t evolved much since the 90s, Thank Christ
What make/model guitar is that @ 0:15 seconds in?
Eastwood Airline ‘59 3P DLX. Funky guitars.
I want the Asian girl
You sound like a caveman. I don't think she wants you.
You get shit
I don't think, I know.
It's OK
Mazzy Star much?
While the chord progression is basically the same as "Fade", the Dum Dums summon a COMPLETELY different (basically opposite) aesthetic. "Fade" is this warm bittersweet love song while this is an utterly bleak, soul-rending meditation on sorrow and despair. I love both bands equally, but "Coming Down" is honestly one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I'm convinced Dee Dee's voice was created for the sole purpose of serving this divine song.
Gotta love comments like this. It's like if a same artist uses the same paint technique, it must be the same.
Nah, Mazzy is popular for a particular song but even they didn't invent that melodic progression, there's always a previous reference or influence.
Just because they're sorta dream pop-y and retro-y doesn't make them a fucking Mazzy Star rip-off
sorta dream pop-y and retro? understatement of the year. For the record, I actually like it a lot better than Fade into you, even having lived through the '90s when everything sounded like this.
maz star rip off
Clearly a Fade Into You rip off.
Clearly not.
