Riding the 2022 Harley Davidson Low Rider s...

- I've waited months to check this bike out and thanks to Biggs Harley Davidson in San Marcos, Ca. I finally had my chance. There have been several friends who own older models, others in the industry who said, "wait until you ride one!!!" Were they right? In a nutshell, it depends on what you're looking for in a bike but for me...YES!
I love how low it sits, how it feels when I ride it, how it looks and the rumble under the seat on a bike that only weighs 679 pounds all fueled up. This is very light bike for a 117 engine. The power, the torque etc...I'm the least badass guy you know. I'm a lover, not a fighter and I'm bad at both but this bike made me feel like a baller. I had so much fun I didn't want to give it back. I think I'd take this for a couple hundred miles before I got uncomfortable. The mid range pegs could be slightly extended if got really picky and the mirrors could be about an inch wider on each side for safety but that would change the look so it's really up to the rider's size and preference. For me this bike is a home run for cruising all over town, a mid range road trip (100-300 miles), and longer if you're a hard charger, (I'm not).
The specs are listed below and thanks for watching. See you on the next one...

I made a comment a while back on the blue Z900RS. Even though it's a pretty big bike, you made it look small. But, on the big LRS, you look at home. Just rode my black '23 today. I love my RS, but somehow this beast is becoming my favorite. I put a CR483 cam and TBR pipe on it and this biggun' gets with the program. Makes you feel alive. Excellent video. Love your enthusiasm.
Thanks so much for your feedback. I'd love to see a picture of your bike. Ride safely.
Just traded my '18 Fat Bob in on a 2022 LRS. I love how classic this bike looks, and every time I'd see one pass by, I'd just stare at it. So, bit the bullet & traded in for one. At shop now getting a Stage III and Bassani Sweepers exhaust. FYI, Kraus will be coming out with some pullback risers that will accommodate the new speedo location in the near future.
Awesome information about the risers. Thanks for watching and congratulations on the bike.
Bought mine on Saturday, had to order it, should have it this week. Got the vivid black, and dressed it up with a new saddleman seat back rest and bigger fairing. Cant wait!
Congrats I’m looking forward to getting the st
@@izzywashington5465 I was too until I was told that they have no clue if they're getting one bc of all the pre orders. I think Harley is releasing them next month. Im hoping I can put the bags and fairing on the s?
Sure it’s gonna cost a little more going that route but like you said who knows if you can even get your hands on a st
That's awesome! Congratulations. I'm a little jealous.
Izzy, did you order it or looking for one? Curious...Send pix when you get it please.
I just got a ‘21 low rider S and I know I’m in the minority here but I don’t like the new gauge or where they put it. Don’t like it. I like the look of the old version and honestly it’s not that freaking hard to look down and see your Speedo or your tach. They’re in the same place every time and it’s not like they keep moving around the tank trying to hide from you! The 117 sure looks the part, but I like the older style tank and gauges personally.
Thanks for watching. My buddy Rob and Grace both said the same thing.
Thanks for the Security Code reminder!!!!!!
Absolutely. Glad Rob and Grace new about it. Thanks for watching.
i test rode the 22 LRS and 22 LRST at the demo day last weekend. I enjoyed the bike as far as power/weight goes but the mid controls/pegs were terrible for me being used to a SGS. I really want to try one out with forward controls and raised bars. I am a bigger guy so it was a bit of a struggle but enjoyed the bike once moving.
Glad you enjoyed the bike while moving. I get it with the controls from what taller guys/gals experience. I've got short legs and even I like forward controls in many cases. Thanks for watching and ride safely...
Just ordered mine. Can’t wait to get it. Great vid. Watching from the UK. 👍🏾
Right on!!! Congratulations. Let me know when you get it. Thanks for watching and ride safely across the pond. :) Did I say that correctly?
@@MotorcycleMonkey cheers pal. Appreciate that. And yer you nailed it mate 🤣🤣. Can’t wait to get it.
I love harleys but it says something when putting the gauges where it makes sense is an innovation for Harley 🤣 Maybe in 100-200 years we will have HUD, radar cruise & blind spot monitoring 😆
Ha! I get you on that. We shall see. :) Thanks for watching.
1, you need to get Biggs to hook you up with the new Low Rider ST when they have one available.
2, you need to take a Fat Boy down for Dave Stall to really drool over
Great review
Agreed on both counts and thank you for the kind words about the review. Glad you liked it. Ride safely and see you on the road.
"Hi" to Pops!
He says hi, right back. Thanks my friend.
just get or make extensions for the stock 22 speedo
I'll pass the word to my two friends that had concerns about that. Thanks for watching.
It's an LED Headlight...NOT an HID......Just saying
Man, if I said that I'm not sure what I was thinking. Or maybe Dave said it and I missed it? Either way, thanks for watching.
