*This makes my old motor look like a toy **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it's well built. I haven't had it on the water yet, but I'm very sure it will perform just fine.*
My boat has the recess for the troller foot pedal and I don't like it at all. I would much rather be able to position my foot pedal where I want. You did a good job explaining the installation.
Way better than minn kotta! Powerfull and efficient. I paired mine with a 100ah battery and could easily troll for fish 10hrs at 2-3 speed. When full at 5 it can easily go 5-7 mph.
I own a 1996 Zx180 skeeter and this would be a very nice up grade in contrast to just having the petal control on the top of the floor. Thanks so much for posting this video TJ81. I know what I will be adding later on when I can. Thanks Kevin the Kevinator
I got one on the way right now. What is your opinion of it after taking the boat out? Does the pedal sit flush with the deck? Easier to control the steering? I'm extremely excited to get mine installed!
the new trolling motors have a peddle that is really slim almost no need for the tray but i guess if you have a different brand that is still big its awesome.
Thanks Elijah!! LOL, yeah, I've been wanting to do this for a couple of years and I finally got the nerve up to cut in to my boat and I am sure glad I did!!
I have a 2009 Basstracker Pro Team 170Tx. Luckily, I won’t have to take out tubes because they’re not there. Did you run the pedal wires thru the front of tray, so the wires are behind the panel. That’s what I plan on doing wondering if you ran the wires the same way. Thanks
Do you feel like you put the tray to close to the seat? I have a 95 Stratos and I’m about 2.5 from the front of the boat. I keep hearing everyone say put it as far forward as you can but I’m only about 5’9 lol.
Thinking about doing one of these in my 2013 Pro 175 TXW just wondering if you think it will work on that model as well not sure if they have moved the support beams or anything can't find any info on where they are. any help or tips would be great awesome video and channel.
I have the tray and plan to do the install this week. I used a flexible camera and looks like the supports beams are in the same place as the older models. the only thing I'm a little worried about now is im a big guy just hope cutting a whole in the floor doesn't weaken the floor to much. will update once i get the install done.
Hey there, I have a 2009 170TX. That doesn't have the rod tubes, just the one main rod locker. I use this all the time. Do you think if I do this addition i would be screwing something up??
+Jared Prashaw Boats are a little different I'm sure, but the tray does eat up some of your depth so you may not be able to fit as many rods. I could still slide a few under my tray if I needed to.

This was a great video! I followed the footsteps and took me an hour. Thanks
My pleasure! 👊
Sick! Wish I could do this to my boat, but because it is older, that is right where my trolling motor battery is.
Yeah, it's a nice setup, sucks about your boat though. Thanks for watchin!!
Nice job on the install vid. I installed my tray last spring and its way easier to control the boat now.
Thanks bud!! Yeah, I'm sure it's going to be a lot easier to control. Definitely looking forward to Spring!!!
My man!! About to do this same thing to my boat and found a video from you!!!🎣💪
Right on! 👊💪

Nice install and explanation. I will be traveling down this path in the next few weeks.

Good video James, that looks awesome! Great job on it!
good work man! i think i'd be too paranoid to ever try that if i owned a bass boat.
Thanks Elijah!! LOL, yeah, I've been wanting to do this for a couple of years and I finally got the nerve up to cut in to my boat and I am sure glad I did!!
right on!
Awesome vid! Getting ready to install one myself, thanks for the info and pointers.

No problem bud!! Thanks for watchin!!
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing that.
Thanks Jordan...no problem bud!!
The template must be smaller than the actual tray, because the lip of the tray would be bigger and go over your cut, correct?
What is a cool foot, wat does it do??

I did not. I ran them under the front panel along the side.
my tray did not come with screws, what length of screws do you suggest?

It was comfortable to me.

That's pretty cool man
Sure is Kevin. Spring can't get here fast enough!!
Do you still have the tubes and that plate because I would like to have that to put in my boat 😂
😆 I don't even have that boat anymore.
Very cool set up. Do you know how I can find out what's under my deck? I have a 2020 Tracker pro 170. Would love to put a tray on it.
You may wanna contact Tracker.
You ever find out about adding this? I have a 2024 pro 170 and been wondering also.
Great Video!
I bought this same boat the tracker 175 txw and I was wondering if you have had any major problems with it?
+CrushinRed No problems at all.

Yeah, it helps to have a boat, LOL!!! Thanks for watchin!!
well damn i loved the video but damn it having to give up my rod holders. i think i will just have to live with out mine being recessed.
