Asahi is one of my favourite beers. Vacationing to Japan from Manchester next year and hope to drink it, and others, in its native country!
Haven’t tried Asahi but I tried Sapporo & Kirirn Ichiban yesterday and they were good

If you thought Kirin's beer was good, I also recommend Kirin's Heartland in a green bottle. Personally, I think it's the best beer in Japan.
I've never tried Japanese beer but the Whiskey is world class.
