Your models are awesome, and the Saturn V is excellent! I'm about an hour away from completing the Saturn V and it looks like an off the shelf model. Great design job and thank you!
Thank you so much for your purchasing! Could you share your print photos on my review page? you will get point for buying my design. fab365.net/reviews Thanks!
Good job! Now you need to make the launch pad and tower, then the crawler….. LOL! Kidding about the last part. Next? How about a full shuttle stack, unless you already have done it?
Thank you, I have been looking for a good model of the Saturn V to print and there has been a few and I mean very few detailed ones. Your models and the X1 Carbon work amazing together.
Now they have 2 stls for the third stage and one has no USA on it. I accidentally printed both. I downloaded the model and my only complaint is they are unclear on the parts that you need to print multiples of. I have figured it out with this video though so no foul. I printed 2 plates and still have to go figure out what pieces I need for the third plate because some require multiples. I could have done it in 2 plates though.
WOAH!!!!! MAGNIFICENT!!!! The LEM could use a ladder on one of the legs though, and that detail on the LEM shroud seems HEAVY!!!! Am I right, or am I just old?
Thank you for sharing this model, it looks amazing. I just purchased and downloaded the .STL files but was wondering if there is a written instruction manual that goes with it, or do I just rely on the video? Thank!
It's a fantastic model! I would love to print it myself some day. I would just like to point out a couple of things, anyway. The S-IVB had a J2 engine installed, same as the ones in the S-II, but the one in the model looks almost like an F1, a bit too big. The second thing is that I find the LES tower to be quite off-scale, looks like it's too small in the model. Thanks for the video, really satisfying to watch the build!
A question 'What is the name of the glue you are using?' I have just started printing and I would like to know the glue you are using . Made a few of your models now very impressed with how they come out . Thank you.
I'm struggling with part "Fab365_Saturn_V_Third_Stage_Assembly_Mid_Black" it's almost 400MB and my slicer keeps crashing trying to load it. I'm on a 27" iMac running the latest Bambu Slicer. Tried it many times but it hangs after about 75% importing it into the slicer.
I have discovered that the size of the file has caused an error for certain slicer. I have fixed the file and so please download the file again. Thank you for your understanding.
Looks great! Just wondering though about some of the design choices. Some parts just click together but others need glue. Why not make everything click together?
A true work of art. I have a question about the parts at the 11:05 point of this video. Why was this printed as four separate pieces, when it could have been printed as one??
I must be missing something. Is there some way to identify these parts visually. I'm already tired of hunting and pecking and dragging to find out which part I'm dealing with.
Great model! I really like the fact that painting is not required if you use different color filaments. What is the total height of the complete rocket as built? It looks like its about 600mm?
I tried to create an account at Fab365 but it's not emailing me the verification. I tried a few times. Then I tried signing in with Facebook but it said my email address was already in use. Hopefully you can fix that soon.

That is awesome. I built one out of PVC pipe and wood when I was in school 30 years ago. My parents still have it in the attic.

Going to print this for my grandsons. It was an amazing piece of engineering before computers and calculators. They can't make one today.
Thank you~ I hope your grand son likes my design~
How amazing! I purchased and printed this model, everything fits so perfectly. Well done indeed.

@@fimmerson Hello. I'm total newbie with X1 ;) Please, can you share your setting you used for this great model?
@@Frantisek7403 Ya you bet everything was stock, the only thing that was changed was the temp while at the higher speeds.
Some great engineering here. Very nicely done!
One thing to correct - none of the flown Saturn Vs had 'USA' on the S-IVB (3rd) stage.
Really? I will check. Thank you for your informations.

do you do a launch tower for this one?

Yeah the S-IVB engine is definitely too big. A little bit of a shame, but luckily it's usually hidden.
What a great video I would love one of those to put with my other saturn V rockets

I know this is probably been asked, but what are you using for glue? I have a hard time find something that works.

Looks great! Just wondering though about some of the design choices. Some parts just click together but others need glue. Why not make everything click together?
For clicking, it needs enough spaces.
I love it, but I do feel as though a little more detail could've been added (the orange fuel tank toppers)
Nice build, I remember making this as kit a long time ago, maybe you could print a Falcon Heavy to the same scale.

Love the Saturn V, but stage 3 does not have USA on it. Would be nice if you could remove that.

A true work of art. I have a question about the parts at the 11:05 point of this video. Why was this printed as four separate pieces, when it could have been printed as one??
On the real Saturn V these would have come off the rocket as 4 seperate pieces so maybe realism?
@@fimmerson As you say, they were four pieces on the real rocket. The four pieces aren't glued so the lunar module can be accessed.
At 12:30 you can see the four pieces being removed to access the LEM.
Ya this print was freaking amazing to do and I managed to get it done in about a day and a half
Congratulations from Paris.

I would love to know your printer settings. There aren't any visible layer lines so thats amazing. Love the model.
All the settings, materials, etc. are detailed on his web site.
Any advice in upscaling the 3D print by 25 - 30%? ...what to look out for?
Bigger print is better. Just do it~
I must be missing something. Is there some way to identify these parts visually. I'm already tired of hunting and pecking and dragging to find out which part I'm dealing with.
How much would that have to be downscaled to match the correct scaling vs the Starship launch model?
Ive scaled up the model by 44 percent and Lunar module adapter doesnt fit with the third stage top
Maravilloso! ❤
