Thank you for your continued verbal support for creating whatever we, as artists, do. It’s too easy to fall into someone’s criticism of what we’ve created and then giving up or cutting back on what we love to do instead of just forging ahead, no matter what, to continue feeling the joy of what we create.
I LOVED your rambling. This was one of my favorite videos. Your joy in creating really comes across. It's also one of my favorite paintings. In this case I'm glad you couldn't cut it up
You are the best! Thank you for inspiring us in our creative adventures. I love listening to your videos, it makes me feel like I have a friend painting next to me at my art station.
I wasn't sure about this at the beginning, but after the stenciling and the dots, I really love it. And I enjoyed listening to you talk about how you have arranged your life to be able to do this kind of work. Thank you for sharing these videos with us!
One of my goals, every time I sit down to create, is to be excited and make those joyous noises to myself that I hear from DL!! ❤ wah ha ha! (and I often tell myself “be brave!). Thank you! Thank you! For all your inspiration! 😊
I watched this last week and was blown away! I love, love, love grunge and this color combo. I didn’t comment last week but rewatched today for more inspiration and wanted to say thanks!
Hi Denise! I can really relate to your comments about wanting to live in different houses, love of colors, etc.I have always said that I wish I had about 10 different lives so I could experience all the many desires of my heart! I love COLOR, and yet tone on tone neutrals appeal to me. I am a farm girl at heart, yet would love to experience life in a highrise in the big city for about a year, live on a boat and travel to far away places.I have always had a sewing machine and have fun with my play with fabric. My nick name is "gadget girl" as I NEED all the fun stuff for the kitchen! I have done rubber stamping, scrapbooking, paint pouring, and now I am passionate about making abstract art. I have learned so much from following your channel! Thank you! I can't draw a stick figure, but I am enjoying life. I have always felt a bit schizophrenic, as most of my friends don't do hobbies and I'm sure they think I'm a bit nuts. Ah well.....I am happy and I trust you are too! Cheers!
Most of my friends and neighbors don’t have hobbies either! I don’t understand them 😂😂😂 so glad we can find our peeps online!! So glad you hung out with me today! Thank you! 🥰
Oh my gosh, Denise, this is a stunning piece - I LOVE the colors! I also have to say that I could listen to you "rattle on" for hours - I learn so much from your stories as I do from the art - You give me courage to keep on trying and hopefully someday I can stop judging what I create - comparing mine to every other artist on the planet! If that day comes - and I think it's getting closer - it will be because of your words. Love you!
Love love love listening to you while i create along with you. So supportive and helpful that I am not so frustrated with how my pieces turn out now!!! Thank you!!
I appreciate your continuous reminders to allow our creations to go wherever they go, even if it's not what we set out to create. Even so, I still have a hard time liking what comes out sometimes. But also being a photographer, I appreciate how much junk you have to create to make the stuff you love, and that the ratio of good stuff to bad stuff gets better with practice!
Really enjoyed your commentary in this one! I can relate to it a lot :-) I have a lot of special interest, and I rotate them all so that I can love them all equally… not another day that goes by that I’m not creating or looking for a better and different way to do what I already like to do❤️💍🖌️💅🎨👩🎨🖼️💄💋🎉😢

Great video love how your pages turned out! Thank you! ❤❤
We love you, too, Denise! I’m so enjoying the art journal phase as that is what I’m working on, also. Love the wonky stencils. I like so many different things that i cannot make a decision. I saw this early this morning and forgot to put in a comment. I love that you are really taking so many different mediums and working DWs journal. Now, gf, that framed pictured is really beautiful. I love how you used it as your inspiration. Im not a pink girl but that ciral color really caught my eye with that sap green. Just a suggestion if you have never done this with those paint tubes. When mine get to about a 3/4 empty, i cut the end and scrape out the paint into a paint pot. That way i get every last bit, lol. Esp if its a favorite color. Todays spread was just lovely. ❤😊❤
So glad to know I don't stand alone with loving just so many colors, houses etc etc. My biggest problem is that I never can make up my mind. If I see a top I love I have to get it in various colors because I can't just pick one. Thanks for letting me know I am in your group 🙂
