@@Bangboomme the boss themes have some sort of build up or like slow parts. Most importantly most of the boss themes have a sort of urgency like we need to beat this boss, whereas this theme doesn’t have that urgency but it still feels grand and it still has the buildup. The song gets cut after the trailer so maybe it’s not the full song.
@@Bangboommei agree, it doesn’t really have the vibe more recent boss themes like never let up or big bang have, I doubt it’s the boss theme to be honest
@@Bangboommenow thinking about it, this battle theme could be the theme when you fight the Extension Corps, it would make sense since when the music starts the next frame of the trailer shows the extension corps. Also the word I was looking for when I said “More Groovy and Sailor Pirate type thing” is Sea Shanty. This theme could be the equivalent to the Popple theme from SSS, where it’s a reoccurring antagonist that has their own theme.
the "Kaboom Attack" could most likely indicate that this attack is a Splash attack, dealing damage to all enemies. Would me the Mario & Luigi kinda way to tell the play that this "Kaboom" is an explosion that deals area damage.
These both seem like very plausible ideas. Just because we've had so many aoe attacks before with no "notifying" text I'd lean towards the badge idea, but maybe they just thought people were struggling to understand which attacks were single target versus area and added a little pop-up. Now that I'm thinking about badges, I just realized we didn't see anything about them in this trailer, and now I'm curious about that. Maybe they're going back to the SSS/PIT style badges instead of the later ones.
I mean, only SSS had Peach in trouble from the very start. Every other one she gets captured reasonably later in the game. But yeah, I get the same vibes. I would love if they SMRPGed us and Peach and Bowser join the bros as playable characters, but I doubt it.
You are 100% correct. I don't know too much about SM64, so I defaulted to the water dragon-like character I knew. That's interesting they're bringing back Dorrie from so long ago. I'm glad Nintendo's starting to reference their older games for overlooked characters, it's a fun touch.
Both types of bros attacks (itemless and with items) in one game? I'm in love.
I'm very curious to see how they'll do it. But the idea is fantastic
@@Bangboommei think they separate them into “bros moves” and “evolved bros moves”
The music is the boss theme. It is too epic.
I love how it is more groovy and Sailor pirate type thing.
You really think so? I feel it's got the upbeat vibe that all of the regular battle themes have, not the (slightly more) tense vibe of boss battles.

it could also be something like a " kaboom badge" that makes bros attacks deal some aoe dmg

I would love to see you let's play this game.
I'm definitely considering it. And thanks, that means a lot.
Its gonna be so good and the attacks look so fun too
IKR! I'm glad they seem to be going back more to bro attacks in SSS style, those had a quality we've never had since
Somehow I feel like this is going to be like Mario sunshine and Mario rpg cause peach hasn’t been captured yet.

Much is already an adverb, you don't need to add "ly" to it. But I agree.
That's Dorrie from Super Mario 64, not plessie.

Corps is a French word, the ps is silent.
Woah, really? I thought it was an abbreviation of corporation or something LOL
Well now I know, thanks!
@@Bangboomme lol
The Bros are back!
heck yeah!
