I have had heavy legs, tiredness since now two years.I feel better in warm weather ,but I heard that cold makes good to the veins?I saw two generalists, two cardiologist which the last informed me that I have varicose veins, and she asked me to make the stress test without taking seriously of my tiredness and heavy legs..!Nobody told me to see a vascular doctor.Useless "doctors"In .. Cyprus.Thank you for this video!I will know now a little about the possible treatments..
I had the Cyanoacrylate adhesive done on both of my legs from my groin to ankle one year ago October 2019. I had several surface veins glued shut in both of my legs & ankles. And the coloring has gone from dark red in my left leg to a dark pink, and an almost black in my right leg ankle to a dark red. I still have days/nights of hot lower leg/ankles and have found ice packs really help. I elevate both legs at night which helps and I keep lotions and sometimes a vitamin A&D ointment around my lower legs and ankles to keep those areas of skin from drying out and itching so much. I am very thankful that this Cyanoacrylate adhesive treatment was in my state of Idaho and look forward to continue healing in both of my legs and ankles. Thank you so much for this video as you explain these symptoms and treatment extremely well.
Thanks for this video, if not be totally be cured ,atleast you provided us on how to prevent it to becoming so serious! Evelyn from the Philippines.❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
What is the rate of progression from c1 to a c2 ? And are there any conservative methods to stop the progression of the disease if you are at a c1 stage?
Paularays Doo Dah Daze, Thanks for the testimonial. I have this frustrating venous condition. Glad to see there is some help nowadays. Five years ago my late wife's sister ended up with multiple ulcers that I don't think were ever brought under control. Going to see if my Dr in Phoenix can refer me here. Hope insurance pays.
Hi...thanks for your video, I am.in Jamaica and is only 37 and I have been suffering from this condition more than 7yrs....I think I'm.getting worst. Please help
I'm very athletic and normal weight. 51 yr old male nurse, so lot's of standing in place and sitting. This condition came on rather suddenly (within yr). Very achy, heavy, painful and tired legs. Word to younger people. Wear compression socks/stalkings now- when younger to delay agony I'm going through. The pain and aching is very real. People think this is about cosmetics, it is not. I'd give anything to not have this pain. Having procedure soon God willing 🙏. Was turned down once by insurance, trying again. Even if insurance doesn't cover, I must have done, or I won't be able to work soon.
I got that, can’t do the vein abatement for insurance reasons. Have to wear compression socks for three months. I got on a plane and went to Bangkok, got it done and had a vacation.
Awesome! I'm infact suffering with small ulcer near ankle which is not healing from some months. Initiallly thought it's not anything complicated. I started worrying about it recently as it's not healing with home remedies. After months. Today this video helped to understand it better. May be this is what is happening to me. I'm in india karnataka state. Please suggest any good doctor for me please. Please reply.
How do you treat venous insufficiency of the deeper venous system? Is insufficiency in the deeper system usually caused from insufficiency in the superficial system? Not sure if I'll get a response since this video is 3 years old.
I had deep vein damage caused through a freak DVT in my left leg aged only 36. I was and still am an extremely fit runner and the only risk factor for me was the Contraceptive pill. I started to suffer a leg ulcer which it later transpired was through hidden varicose veins. After allowing our UK NHS to just manage this ulcer for eight years solid I found out that there were procedures out there that could cure or hugely improve me. I eventually referred myself to a specialist vein in clinic in London where I had an Endovenous Duplex Ultrasound Vein Mapping Scan. It was found that I had an incompetent GSV and an incompetent SSV, but the main problems for me were four incompetent perforators, which a lot of vein doctors are incapable of treating. The Professor who’s clinic I went to had invented the TRLOP (Transluminal Occlusion of Perforators) specifically for small perforator veins. I underwent Endovenous Laser Ablation Therapy together with TRLOP followed after an eight week gap with Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy. I had these procedures in 2018 and haven’t looked back since. It was the best £6,000 I ever spent.
This is the absolute best description of the actual issue that I have heard out of at least 100 different readings, presentations, and videos!
Great preparation and education before going to the vein surgeon.
