Great video! I get out the Army in a week after 11 years in. I start college in January for aeronautical science with flight training using my GI Bill through Liberty University. Been wanting to fly since first stepping on board a 737-200 as a kid back in roughly 1995. Although I spent more time in the Army than I wanted I’m now preparing myself every way possible to get hired at regional and eventually a major. These videos are very informative. Flight simulator is a great tool and I know for my father in law who also loves aviation it’s his only way to get a taste of sitting in the cockpit.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts Brandon! Good on you for putting the GI bill to good use, make the most of it! I am happy to help, make sure to like and sub! Many of my videos will be extremely helpful for career planning and the overall flying thing... The flight simulator can be as life-like as your budget, and it is a ton of fun in the entire spectrum (from new simmer to full pro). Stay tuned and engaged!! Fly safe!
Amen on the flight simulator, Rod. I flew Microsoft FSX for years before I ever thought of actual flight training and I believe it helped me tremendously when I actually got behind the controls of a real plane. I’m excited to watch your build!
Thank you. Indeed, the flight simulator was particularly helpful when it came time to earn my instrument rating. The whole simulator thing can be a real asset to your training and proficiency routine. I have been away from it for almost 20 years!!! I am happy to be back!
Much appreciated! Please support the channel and help me grow to see more content like this, and all kinds of aviation specific videos! Thank you for watching!
Very timely, I’m expecting to finish IRA within 1 or 2 weeks and soon thereafter Republic cadet and JetBlue gateway. I will be interviewed for both of these videos, I’m taking notes lol
I am happy to help! I would have certainly appreciated these tips when I was preparing for an interview, I sincerely hope that it helps you. Keep me posted and good luck!
