Nature Spirits VS Dragon Linkz!! | Digimon Card Game: EX7 Digimon Liberator Cup (ROUND 3)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 лип 2024
- This is Round 3 of the Digimon Liberator Cup, a tournament featuring 8 decks from the 7th theme booster of the Digimon Card Game: Digimon Liberator. The next two decks to clash are Nature Spirits and Dragon Linkz. The multi-coloured Nature Spirits deck makes use of a variety of control mechanics from Green, Yellow, Black and Blue, in combination with field swarming to trigger their [On Play] effects and beat down the opponent. It is topped by SaberLeomon ACE and Eldradimon, which DNA Digivolve into Tllalocmon which is their ultimate source of swarm and removal. On the other hand, the Red/Black Dragon Linkz deck has gained further power and consistency with free Hina drops and a powerful cycle between the new Volcanic and Metallic which keep playing each other when they leave the field, continuously damaging the opponent's field presence with their terrifying [On Play] effects. Which force of nature will claim this territory and move on?

From my playtesting, NSp definitely feels like the clunkier and less consistent deck. Dragon Linkz dominated a substantial majority of my practice matches, especially since a single Volcanic on board counters Tlaloc's DNA if they don't have Jaga (if Tlaloc swarms, the mandatory DP minus will delete Volcanic, playing out Metallic, which will De-Digivolve Tlaloc into oblivion and steal turn since SaberLeo ACE is part of the stack). Yet, their actual event/tourney performance seems to be quite even? On Digimoncardmeta, NSp has 2 tops against Linkz's 3, while on digimon-cg-guide, NSp has 6 against Linkz's 5. So I suppose this goes to show that while the diversity of NSp's toolbox can make it rather inconsistent, it does have the potential to sometimes high roll and give you the right tools against the right opponent! At least, if you're not fighting against an opponent that's too meta...
I'm surprised that NSP would win against Linkz, the deck is super inconsistent in my playtest that I give up on building the actual deck, the full combo Eldradi open to find SaberLeomon (presume 4 copies in the deck) is just 26.39% which is quite low and so many other buggy elements that makes NSP, IMO, the worst archetype in this set.
Seeing ex7 machine dragon. Putting that in chaosdramon x. Switch target to himself
@@pockytung2084 Shogungeckomon clinched it
Yeah, NSP has a lot of versatility, and that can make it clinch games with some good luck. All it really needs are some more rookies at it'll be all set.
That cost 5 to digivolve volcanic hurts my soul
Wasn't expecting the packfiller archetype to win, but it won the topdeck roulette off eldoradimon [with 2 Saberleos already accounted for!] and was quite fortunate to have Tortomon and Shogun; the exact cards it needed to play off from Talaoc to have enough attacks to win next turn.
It can do things on a highroll; but if that Saberleomon wasn't in those 4, this would have been a stomp.
The ending is kinda fitting given the events of the Web Novel side of Liberator. I was hoing NSP was going to win. Tllalocmon is such a cute boy.
Man your editing is just so awesome!
I loved the Jogress evolution sequence! Absolute art!
Not bad. Nice to see these decks fight.
Although, on a scale of one to ten, how annoyed are we that we didn’t get a second Hina?

Your pronunciation of Monochromon was very… unique.
I expected “Mah-no-crow-mon” and instead got “Muh-knock-row-mon”.
stellar work as always russ!! the edits are fire 🔥
I think this shows a lot of the weakness of deletion based removal which has become more commonly resisted now, especially in regard to red. They just don't have enough ways to deal with cards outside of raid, and could probably do with a bit of a colour wide buff
Thank you Rust 🙏
OMG how did they get the win?! that comeback, the effects of NSP protecting each other while making it impossible for the opponent to stop them
Even if the land burns and the sky's torn asunder, nature finds a way to persevere
Love tlalocmon, so happy we got one finally
digimon links lines and hexblaumon line are some of my absolue favorite newer line glad heir getting more support. my favorite classic lines are machinedramon and waar greymon. Alphamonm jesmonm , ultfoceveedramon and druandamon lines are also all great. i waan o make a deck for each
Awesome vid Rust
This was cool. Good game.
Hell yeah, I was rooting for Nature Spirits!
hey new to channel and love what you do here
i see ur not focused too much on one card game(not including digimon of course) so can i suggest one for you
i would like to see some battle spirits vids please, i love it
with ur large following im sure word would get out of how good the game is.........
unless ur already against it which means do you bro i dont care
the edit is so epic
Dang I was rooting for Linkz but that jogress turn was extremely strong from NSp 😮
Damn, i thought the match was over when d link drop 2nd hina, but the turn swing with tlalocmon is insane.
I had my doubts with Nature Spirits, but they're proving better than I initially expected. Plus, they look a lot more fun, now that I'm seeing them in action more. I'm still more excited to get Saberleomon Ace for Leomon tribal, but I might as well pick up the rest of NSp while I'm at it.
The deck should be cheap at least. It's another pack filler deck, but at least it's good if it high rolls, and I'm excited because it gives dorbickmon some great cards to work with.
@JohnDoe-zx1ck Oh, for sure. I kind of find the idea of a toolbox deck based around pack filler cards pretty clever imo, but it's definitely missing another good level 3 and 6. If the bt18 Metaletemon was an Ace, it would've helped a lot more.
Intense
Hell yeah, Nature Spirits! . . . . . *cough* and Ukko. *cough.*
Man that shogungeko came in clutch exiting match but I think nature spirits are a still incomplete deck they need options because they have so many colors runing any is dificult
Well cant say i didnt see this coming. As a owner of both decks the nsp high roll definitely helped. Idk if u had another saberleo in hand (probably not since that was the third copy alrdy) but if the saberleo didnt show up i think nsp would not have won. The jagamon was also ver clutch d.linkz are literally only afraid of de-digivolve so thats why nsp is not a very favourable matchup. On a side note u can play lazer canon in nsp to de-digivolve ur oppenent more
Ragna is also a great tech in d.linkz as well. It has helped me win many games
Damn, I was hoping I could see more games from the losing deck but atleast I got to see a cool performance.
im wondering if EX3 dorbikmon might be a decent card in the dragon linkz deck
I just wanted to say I like Eldradimon and was happy to see its team win
lets goooo my baby won! i've been brewing this deck since spoilers revealed (so much so its become a bit of a meme at the lgs about me obsessing over it)
The various toolbox effects nature spirits had there were really neat, felt surprisingly fresh with the way they worked together.
Wild, though, that the deck only has two rookies, not to mention that the only egg is a promo??
Its the way they also didnt drop a 3rd rookie in BT18
@@rustmarrow What, you wanted a successive NATURE Spirit in ELEMENTAL SUCCESSOR?
The fact that D. Links found 3 Hina without searching for them is insanely lucky.
on the other hand having to hard play the first 2 Hina and missing the free Hina play really sucked.
Given that I’m a fan of red and dragons, I should have been rooting for the Dragon Linkz gang, but given my recent shift towards playing green (2nd color), I found myself rooting for the Nature Spirits. Tlaloc is a very good cute boi.
P.S: despite me looking directly at the card during spoiler season, it completely flew over my head that he is an Ultra level and not a mega).
Didn't think Id hear the word Dragon Linkz to describe a deck outside Yugioh. For those that dont know Dragon link in Yugioh was a huge mash up of light and dark dragons from several archetypes for link summoning.
Yeah, why is this deck even called Dragonlink? Just cuz of the Yugioh deck? Whats the Linkz, here?
@@LazurBeemz The deck is based around the digimon from the now defunct mobile app Digimon Linkz. They are both dragons. Dragon Linkz.
Thank god, good job natures spirits.
In miss Ragnaloardmon in DL deck
Either bs is going to happen or Linkz blows NSp out of the water. But knowing that I'm voting for Linkz, it'll probably lose.
Doesn't help that Rust does like to play test a lot to get a good match(which isn't a bad thing), so really don't have hopes for this
Not the winner i expected...
Hi 🤗
Heart says NSp, but I know Linkz is gonna win
Listen your heart
@@joonas394 yep….ngl I was shocked
It’s calling for you
First
I'm sorry but in any other game, NSP loses this match up. That hit on SaberLeomon was either rigged or pure luck.
Considering how Rust does things, this was pure luck.
