i think if they were starting uniques people wouldn't mind as much. For example if Morde started with the violence and silent night to show off build pathways (melee and sniping) and it carried a bit throughout the early game. good video btw bro
I still prefer the reaper over the sucker punch because it can come as a much stronger gun, with a scope, and your melee damage heals you! I agree that adding gearbox legendaries with fixed parts, and nerfing all rocket launchers for no reason, were mistakes. They were completely unnecessary changes that made the game worse!
I get your point about them being starting weapons, but also the game is now 14 years old LOL. - Also you get a guaranteed one every time you visit The Vault if you travel to a DLC, save, quit, reload, travel to The Vault. You can farm these stupid easy once you beat the game.
The original game is 14 years old, and the enhanced edition came out in April 2019. That was the introduction of the GB legends and where my issues stem from. They barely made a remake and just threw in the most lazily put-together guns and ruined the progression because of it. Yes, I did know about the Vault map glitch. And I also know if you're on console you should travel to the Underdome if you're doing that farm because it's a smaller map and that means slower load times ;) And yeah, I know it's an old game, I just wanted to finally share my thoughts after I haven't seen anyone do so

I think new players to BL1 will have an issue if they can just walk through the game, for me, I just finished Brick not too long ago, I was happy to use a couple of these to get through the game a little easier.

I bet there's a way they could do that. The gearbox guns that are a part of the old goty edition were white/ green, which I liked more
As a Brick main, I will never use these guns. I got my Crux, I got my Redemption, I don't need these cringe powercreep guns.

I've never heard of that before. I do know that regeneration effects from COMs don't work for the GB guns.

I believe the Skullmasher also worked well for Craw. I never used it much tho 😐
