Do reference checks and ask the reference what is happening in their organization. You’ll get valuable intel and a great contact. Send them a letter with your card saying thanks. Now do that 25 times a month and watch what happens

Hey today is my first day in recruiting. I am tasked to bring in clients, so it is pretty daunting since I come from finance and a completely different sales role. This video was very helpful. looking forward to studying more of your content, thanks for this

To me the easiest, but slowest way is through government staffing and RFP's. My company is registered in several states and we have candidates working in Florida, Virginia, Maryland, Indiana, etc. The one thing we have not tackled is the Federal GSA schedule. That is something we will start later this year.

@@Mav0585 It is time consuming and highly competitive but it is the "easiest" option as you are not cold-calling. Here, you simply get on a state's vendor list, register your company with the state and you are in business.

It depends. If you reun a full desk and have several searches, you need to focus on candidates. If you have none or a few and things are not progressing, invest a large part of your day on client development. Does that make sense?

Maybe the best way of getting clients is to represent a highly qualified candidate and send his resume to his former colleagues at their new companies . Of course this is done with the candidates permission. If you believe the candidate is doing this on their own, they are not since the fear of getting rejected is too strong. The candidate can save face if someone else performs this task for them.

Most companies especially larger companies hate and actually have rules against anyone blindly sending them a candidate resume. Establishing a connection with the hiring manager and then showing a resume is different.

My problem isnt finding qualified leads..its easy to know who is hiring what and whether they work with staffing partners. Sure you can target the ones that dont, but those are harder to sell. So problem one in selling to those that do is differentiating yourself/your agency from others bc they are all saying the same thing, even a 'niche' bc there are so many other agencies in that niche already i.e. light industrial.

Hi Daniel, this is where you would need to really define your USP and live by it. A lot of recruiters say things but really doing them and getting good references will be a huge advantage. Also, consistency. A lot of companies already have suppliers but what isn't so well known is many of their current suppliers aren't performing. If you can provide a candidate to an urgent role, they are much more likely to consider you for their jobs. From here, it is then about consistently proving your value to them.

I changed my recruiting system altogether. After I decided which vertical I like, I looked to see who is in high demand among my clients. For me, its the high level executive in sales. I go and find them, and with their permission, market my candidate very quietly to the clients. I hined my craft while working for a recruiting agency. Maybe those of us who know the way can show those who want to learn?

We've tested multiple versions of this including sourcebreaker. The best thing is to define your target market (think like a target with the middle being the best clients you could work with) and then follow their socials and website. Set up job alerts on LinkedIn, Indeed etc. to get notified once a new role is in your area.

Hello, I am still learning different outreaching methods but once you get a ton of highly qualified candidates, you can ask for references who are in leadership and market that resume to openings that align with the candidates specific skillset and industry. I would also take the time to state the must have requirements from the candidates profile so the email can be tailored for that specific opening.

The more I learn about this industry the more illogical and rigid I find it....if I myself am using all this effort to bring in emplyers that are looking to hire for my business. Why not I just go a network to build my own empire and sell my own product/service like web development? I earn more in the process and the recruitment agency is going to pay me basic salary to go to this places anyway I am leveraging on that to find the right business associates that benfit myself in the long run
