Approx. 1 qt+ of dirty oil is left in the motor using the pump out extractor method. Easier ... but not right. Best way (done at reputable Marinas) is to completely remove the lower covering and unscrew the oil drain plug. ALL oil is removed this way.
BeyondTheBounds been real sick. Been doing vidoes and all on my channel thru being sick. I've been watching just not committing much but I'm still watching thanks. God bless
Never had an issue. I had the intake pretty clogged once and it was still spiting water good. Maitnence is pretty easy. Power is definitely there 21ft boat planes fast and would get 73 on all stock settings...mid to upper 60s with 3 dudes and full tackle spread
Does the SHO still have a warranty if you change your own oil? I thought the mechanic was suppose to key into the computer when the oil is changed so that the warranty will not be voided out.
A proper oil change, especially the first one, should drain the oil. An extractor never removes it all. Also, you put the wrong friggin’ oil in it. VF250’s get full synthetic. (gold bottle) Great job of spreading misinformation. I’m sure Yamaha appreciates the effort. Not.
Love how you are not afraid to do things on your own boat. Great video and please keep them coming. God Bless

Good video. Would it be better to run the engine to normal operating temp before extracting the oil?

How do u measure 6.7 liters?
If you pour 2 gallons in, that's 7.5 liters.
