He almost lost her and did everything he could to save her when she got kidnapped. It's no way he was gonna lose her again. I get Olivia found out that her dad did what he did to save Olivia but her going to prison for what her father did wasn't the answer. I'm glad Fitz put his foot down.
Olivia should’ve left b613 alone. Anyone associated with it should’ve had guest star role appearances - it would’ve made the show a lot… spicier, rather than Scandal devolving to The B613 Show

He's right what he's telling her but at the end of the day because of him she has become the woman that she is. She spent her life fixing and saving other people because nobody was there to fix and save her. Her father put her in boarding school so that he could run b613 as command and put her mother in prison for 22 years and then lied to her and said she was dead. He raised her that love is a weakness and abandonment is how her parents showed her love. He's trying to run away because b613 has come out and he don't wanna suffer the consequences. Olivia wants to stand in her truth.

Her staying away let’s him win, proves him right, shows that he can still control her, an allows him to hurt more people unchecked. She has to fight back against him and others like him.

you know what? Keep in mind I'm not surprised because remember like Mellie, Cyrus, David and even his wife told him that he's everybody's bitch. Jake worked for everybody. He was Olivia henchman slash boytoy. Her dad brought Jake into Olivia life to come between Fitz and Olivia and he never could and so at that point her dad excepted Fitz and Olivia being together so really there was no other use for Jake. Olivia never loved Jake. She has always only loved one man and that was Fitzgerald Grant and that's who she ended up with in the end. She may have screwed Jake and maybe cared for him but there was no future with him. The alternate episode proved that he was never really an option.

Because that show became TRASH! it stopped making sense for me around Season 3. Shonda and company could have done a better job. It's as if the writers were competing to see just how ridiculous the next episode could be. No I e seemed to care about the fans without whim there would be no show!!! There were so many plots holes, foolishness and utter nonsense! I gave it up at the end of Season 2.
