I’m trying to explain that I’m a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn’t lose to anyone.

I knew breathing deeply made you relax but when you mentioned that people who have trouble sleeping are usually taking shallow breaths that just blew my mind… made me realize that in general I bet I’d be a whole lot less anxious if in general I always breathed better throughout the day 😳 So like hacking my anxiety through the way I breathe. Wow. Big life realization, thank you!!!

I’ve been sleeping without a pillow for over a year and my neck feels so much better. Well at least while on my back. And a small pillow for side sleeping. Also a pillow under my knees and between them when on the side.

I wake up in the morning feeling worn out from tension in my sleep, jaw clenching and the effects of that, poor position while sleeping curled up in the fetal position, and poor neck positions and the effects of that... help set us off on the right side of the bed each morning, please?

Hmm… I do leg/ back stretches on each side and then the leg stretches in the video every morning before I get out of bed and am able to touch the floor flat handed easily when I stand up! Makes sense though to relax one for sleeping. Thanks.

Put one foot on the floor, while still prone, then sit up and swing to put the other foot on the floor. Make the supreme effort to open your eyes and stand up. Lol. Cancelling having to work might help. Just joking here.
I looked this up because I've had a pretty bad day physically and I really crave the sleep I had when I used to stretch everyday, it really improved my sleep quality and I wondered how something so simple, non time consuming and non tiring could be so effective. Unfortunately, I fell out of my stretching routine over a year ago and couldn't get back into it and I still can't but tonight I really want to relax my muscles more than ever (they're so painfully stiff 😭) and get a good night's sleep like back then. I hope this works, even if just a little.
I have been doing these stretches. I do the in the morning, i will start doing them at the end of my day to help me sleep. I notice when i do these stretches it really helps my strengthen my legs" calves and back. And i have less pain throughout the day.
I already do a few of these, but along with the others, I'm sure I'll feel better. Question. I tend to curl up on my side when I sleep. My right side is all tight, neck, shoulder, upper back. I'm working on your exercises/stretches, they have helped. I still continue to curl up on my right side when I sleep, and have pain. How can I stop this????

Great stretches. But I do wish that you would keep in mind people will find it a little hard to see. So if you can redo this video with one of you not standing in the background and black colour clothing because it was difficult to see the stretches as the colour is just blended in. So I’m not really sure if I got all the angles etc. correct. Thank you for making these videos. They’re really good.

Do you have handouts with these exercises that you could make available to those who cannot remember all of them at bedtime?
I had to flip one foot over the other without moving the upper body. It was one of the Best trunk rotations that I did.
