Minimalism is peace of mind, money in your pockets, order in your life, time to spare. Thanks to minimalism I live in a clutter free one bedroom apartment, already paid for. As it is small and has no clutter, deep cleaning takes 1h and 15 min a week. I have some health problems so I pay someone to clean for me: 2 hours a week are enough and as I am debt free and have no problems with impulse buying I can afford that and grocery delivery too. My life, even when I am not feeling well is super easy! Always neat, always tidy. I also applied minimalism to food: I only cook once a day tops, and leave leftovers in the freezer, so I only clean the kitchen once a day. Empty surfaces (and a dishwasher) mean that it takes me 8 minutes to clean the kitchen after cooking! I also use a weekly schedule so I know what to cook each night and what to buy each week. No need for drive-through or takeaway. All my clothes fit and are Comfortable, my makeup fits in a small bag... again simplicity. Blessed simplicity
I finally took time to clean out a cube organizer that had just become a clutter magnet and sold it. I still look at that spot and am instantly happier and more relaxed.
Covid-minimalism : buying less stuff because restrictions are in place on going places where you would spend money, to prevent the spread of covid-19. My girlfriend is experiencing this. She sometimes is freaking out about how much money is left in her account because she thinks "there must be a big payment that's not gone out when it's due!".
I hate cleaning. A few years ago I got rid of the coffee table so I wouldn't have to vacuum around it anymore. My husband noticed it was gone but he didn't complain. It's nice to have a little extra space and now we think twice before buying something just because we can "afford" it. Maybe we can afford the financial cost - but the effort used to store, maintain and eventually dispose of the item often isn't worth it.
Just got rid of 80% of my wardrobe and donated the rest! Ironically much less stuff gives you so many more options! Sick of just keeping things cause they're pretty or I spent money on when I never wear them! This then helps me shop more mindfully too. Only buy staples that go with the valued things I already have! Also... Less laundry 😊
I'm decluttering now, yes, to move after 20 years of living in the same house....oh my goodness. Decisions are hard, but I am seeing such amazing results, mostly in the way that I feel! The stress/weight of "stuff" being lifted off of my shoulders.
I spent about 8 hours out of the weekend de cluttering. We are trying to remodel the house and move in the next two years, after living in the same place for 20 years all I can say is WOW!! all the stuff we accumulate.
I always feel very pleased with myself when I look at nice things in the shops or online and say to myself “I really like that but I’m not going to buy it”. And it reminds me about similar things I already have and makes me appreciate them more, especially clothes.
I'm such a huge proponent of Miniminalism! It helps me focus on thing that matter. I hear friends/family/coworkers talk about spending all Sunday cleaning while I have so much free time. I don't get it. As a society, too much emphasis is placed on things. great video, Kate!

Except she likes to take the things to her house that I’m trying to get rid of. Lol. I going to make a plan for two day off next month and just be done. Since the storage place is not open on weekends. Thanks again.
I love maximalism ..to have the things around me that makes me feel good reminding me of good memories things that reflect who i am and are interesting..cold bare and sterile isnt for everyone
Kate! The cookbook, Cook Once Eat All Week had given me back SO much time! You should look into it and do a cook along or something. Great video as always, Girl! 💖
Energy!!!!
For sure I would love more energy.
I feel exhausted even when I haven't really done anything.
Spending a bit of time deciding what I value saves a lot of time going forward. Arranging numerous throw pillows on my bed each morning only to have to take them off at night is a great example of time wasted!
❤ur channel bcoz i love minimalism. Im 12 years old wAtching from philippines.
Looking gorgeous! And congrats for reaching 17K :)
Your videos really motivate me to save money minimize
💖Love, love, love💖 this! I like ALL advantages of minimalism you noted. Especially relishing in the spaciousness of non-clutter. That makes me HAPPY. ☺☺☺☺☺☺
This morning I slept without memorably dreaming for the first time in about a week. That was what I needed to have more energy. But, minimalism definitely helps too!
All 3 Money and Time and Energy brings me excitment. Love this video Kate. Thank You.
I love this video!!! I have been working on decluttering! I am going to bust it out and get lots done hopefully this month of October.

I like walmart candles ( mainstays ), they smell wonderful throughout my house. Recently I've just been using them in my bathrooms cause its still warm out.

YASSS!!!!!
Your hair looks so nice wavy. 💕. Good video and so true.
Thank you so much 🤗
All of the above lol! We just bought a house with double the square footage but got rid of a large quantity of things. I'm still pairing down our things but feel guilty because a lot of stuff was gifted...
Yes more videos on declutter
More time to do as I desire would be my answer. It's difficult to break the habit of buying shiny things. Ty.
Love the cute roleplay.
It made me laugh today. Haven't laughed all week.
I'm subscribing. I need to start decluttering and saving plus organizing
Moon Glow I’m so glad you are here! Welcome to the family!

Love your channel, but was curious what do you do job wise?
Yes girl!!! Minimalism,!!!!! Total game changer!!!! Love it!!!
Actually it's having more peace of mind. 😌
Ok. So at 8.40 I had an epiphany Kate!!🎉🎉🎉. Tomorrow morning I’m doing it! Trying on every clothing item I possess and deciding if its a keeper or a gonner! Then I’m moving in on those throw pillows and those hateful ornaments 🤪🤪. I’m doing it. Stand back, I’m going in😈
I'm BEHIND YOU!!! YASSS!!!!!!!! I'm SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!! You've GOT THISSSS!!!
Dear Kate, your best intro yet !! 😁❤
@Kate Kaden 😍I LOVE YOU KATE💝
I wonder if one of the cats wanders around in the background in every single video you've ever made, Kate! Loving your look in this video, by the way... And great content, as ever. I'm a fan of minimalism, but I've got a long way to go yet to reduce the "stuff" to the level I'll be happy with. Please do make more videos on your financial minimalism. I'd like to know more. Thank you!
And yes please to more about time minimalism and scheduling, and energy minimalism. All of it, yes please!
Really enjoyed your video!
