Thanks for the review on it I was just looking at that recently.
Thank you for your updates
Nice review, thanks!
Thank You !!! Like it.
👍👍very good performance
That vest carrier Is terrible. Those vests were issued to us (Armor truck courier) and all of the stretchable straps have ripped. None of them have elastic anymore. It’s like basically wearing underwear with elastic gone. This happened within 3weeks, if you get this vest make sure to get a better Plate carrier. (This has just been with our experience). But I like that the plate stopped the rounds from going through 👍
Thanks for the report. I figured, at this price point, the carrier is probably what they cheaped out on. RMA's comparable option (OEM Slate solutions) costs twice as much, so I wonder if that extra cost is partially a better carrier.
You can order better Velcro straps from other manufacturers like Safelife for $12-$15 for a set.
No one should really be carrying plates in something that has straps like these holding them together. I'd hate to see what that all looked like if you were running. There's a reason every serious plate carrier has a cummerbund.
I see this carrier as good for throwing on light armor if something goes bump in the night (I've never even heard of robbers using AR15s), or something relatively unobtrusive to wear to indoor shooting ranges that don't allow rifles.
Clearance sale sold out except xsmall size.
Did I miss the part about side protection??
Out of stock and no option to be on waiting list or notification when it will be available. 😞
In the Heller decision it looks as if body armor would be covered under the 2nd Amendment.
"The 18th-century meaning is no
different from the meaning today. The 1773 edition of
Samuel Johnson’s dictionary defined “arms” as “weapons
of offence, or armour of defence.” 1 Dictionary of the
English Language 107 (4th ed.) (hereinafter Johnson).
Timothy Cunningham’s important 1771 legal dictionary
defined “arms” as “any thing that a man wears for his
defence, or takes into his hands, or useth in wrath to cast
at or strike another.”
I've never heard of getting lvl 4 protection with a lvl3a and lvl 3 plate is that proven? I think that'll be alot more comfortable that a normal level 4 plate but I could be wrong I've never owned armor. What would you suggest thats budget friendly
Also what size plates fit in the pocket? I think im going to have to order one to replace my 511 plate carrier
So that’s what I’ve been told by armor manufacturers. It wouldn’t be NIJ rated level 4 but the ballistic protection would be in line with level 4 threat ratings. The pocket looks like it will hold a 10x12. Probably not much bigger than that.
I'm not sure it's a budget friendly way to do things. Level III plates are not a whole lot cheaper than Level IV and you still end up buying soft armor.
@@CopperJacketTV do they have coverage from lower part of neck to belly button about 18 inches? That’s what I measured for my coverage… how short or long are they… again I need about 18 inches of coverage neck to belly button
@@snoopywl8880 iiia + III will not give you IV
Kinda sucks that the website has a size chart showing that I would need a 3X, However, thay don't make a 3X!
Only a 2X, or 4X. Seems like they forgot about a lot of us out there!
Probably out of stock, I have a 3Xl.
@@j_valentin13 Thanks Jason, but the website says, " They're offered in six different sizes, XS, S, M, L, 2X, & 4X!" So you must have gotten one before they stopped offering 3X.
@mrsig7381 No they do have a 3x.. they have x small, small, med, large, 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x..
I like safe life but damn there to expensive to me for 3a
Would love a stab test on this, and maybe more calibers!
Every certified IIIA vest works basically the same. The shooting tests of these vests is actually really boring.
Paging King of Armor Destruction, please come to the reception!
Would hurt like hell but you wouldn't have a bunch of holes in you... Not bad at all
That's the real catch .22, budumtish.
I got one of these, and it is very thin. I hope it never has to catch a bullet cuz I still definitely feel the full force of it.
Check them. They are all sold out.
I know you’re older but all the cool kids refer to it as “1cm” or “best millimeter”.
Lol gotcha. Thanks
@charleshetrick3152 What??
@@justinbushman277 the cartridge known to SAAMI as 10mm Auto, you see that measure can also be expressed as *1cm* . Sometimes we also call it *best millimeter* but this is a colloquialism known to, as mentioned, the cool kids.
What happened the name daily shooter?
Ammo prices went up so now he's weekly shooter
@@snoopywl8880 haha copy. Thanks
22lr is actually the most deadly because it will just bounce around inside the skull.
Please say sike
Fantastic vest horrible customer service they never return calls and they won’t even respond to your warranty request, the straps started fraying the second time I put the vest on very disappointing and I guess the excuse is going to be there a small company wow that’s not how you retain customers and all I wanna do Bulletsafe is buy new straps and you guys can’t even accommodate that horrible
