that zombie going for your deer was amazing. honestly, it's minor stuff like that which gets me excited because it shows the developers' love for the game and attention to detail.

@@Thebombboom I run on minimum, but the game will jack up fps to the point it uses up ALL of my memory. I dont need 1770 fps, just 30

7 Days to Die is truly a unique game compared to the rest of the games that are trending right now. This game does not get as much attention as I think it should deserve, sadly. I believe that if the Fun Pimps keep making exciting and promising updates, like Alpha 21, 7 Days to Die can achieve great lengths. Thanks to the devs and Glock 9 for making the content!
Tbh, it's a bit to old to catch on at this point. There have been a lot of games like this, and games that did the opposite. Rust is a good example.
They do good but when your game is in alpha for over a decade, something needs to change.

Two things number 1 you can still get more feathers from nests or polymers from trash by looking in something and exiting out before you destroy the trash/nest and it will drop the bag with th loot inside. number 2 theres a thick 44 flag in the craftables for anyone who wants to pay tribute to the wyvern king i know i will when im set up (we miss you thick).

I'm blown away at how much has changed in A21. They put a lot of work in. And I can't believe zombies eat animals now! What a great detail!
The new update seems actually good. I like the POI info at the top as well as adding more variation of objects like multiple car types, not so sure about the auto lockpicking. I gotta get that steam key to try it myself though. I'm glad there's been an overhaul of the skills.

G9 is one if the best 7D2D creators, IMO. He's the one that got me into the game, and has a TON of excellent series to watch. Always entertaining, with lots of great series concepts and challenges
Other personal faves are Guns, Nerds and Steel, Kage848 and Capp00. G9 has enough content to keep you occupied for months though.
dont get too attached to your first world. when A21 releases in a few days (in experimental) your old saves wont work on it
@shuhaib.t Neebs is a bit more of an acquired taste, IMO. I loved Thick, indeed I dig all of them as individuals, as a group sometimes the chaos and bickering can turn me off. They usually do have solid and entertaining content though, and people should definitely check them out and make their own decisions.

do you happen to know when the console update comes out i have always watched glock but never played because i am on console?
@@olfusey8838 Guns, Nerd and Steel said it was coming out ideally around Alpha 22 or so, so everything was prepared for the big release. But Fun Pimps did get the rights back to the console version so it should be getting worked on.

@olfusey8838 I remember 0laying the console version. I never knew until alpha 18 that it was better on pc. I didn't really keep up with it. Once I switched to pc I saw how much easier and playable the game is. Not to mention the graphic update

the problem i have with them making it a book crafting system isn't really because i have to find books, its more of just the fact they changed what im used to and if im going to need to find books to craft stuff i would rather immediately have stuff like the workbench so its not down to luck if i can even craft what i unlocked the ability to craft

The books aren't so bad. If it's going too slow just up loot amount for 2 or 3 times the books, or lower it depending. I like getting better at stuff by doing stuff also, so either way. I really wish they'd add a "Sparta Kick" button though. I'd map that puppy to my middle mouse button! Maybe someone already added it in a mod, but I just started messing with those...

Had to watch this a few times... So it now looks like you have to harvest what you kill before the z's get it... Makes it tougher, even the crafting through self education - read kid read!!! Yes I would love to have a key.

Honestly, after taking a considerable break from 7 Days to Die after playing a lot of Undead Legacy in Alpha 20, the skill system there had me worried about the new magazine system in this game, because of how hard it could be to max out some skills even finding books - but having actually played Alpha 21 last night, I can say, it *REALLY* isn't that bad, I think they handled it really well for what it is. Plus, always gotta remember, you could always just find a really good piece of gear anyways without needing to craft it.

Wow everything looks super shiny and fresh, that's pretty cool. I will say it's kind of funny how the devs are like 1 step behind mods and adding some things that are nice QOL changes from them into the base game.

The changes with the leveling system is a great idea. reminds me of Rust wipes where the server removes the tech tree. Gives so much more incentive for exploration

With all the streamers playing this weekend, I knew it was YOU that would do it justice. I just couldn't find this video because I was looking for the "Alpha 21...blah blah blah...Weekend Streamers...blah blah blah". I was so disappointed by the other streamers who played for hours, made so many newbie mistakes repeatedly, and then did a SECOND recording summarizing the "tips". Glock doesn't give us the "tip" - he shoves the whole thing in! We get the meat and potatoes of the game in 30 minutes cause ain't nobody got time for the bs. Thank you for giving us a chance at winning one of those keys. I would love one of those keys so wish me luck!
Glock 9, I have the beat playthrough idea. Every piece of cornmeal found has to be taken and only stored in inventory. Melee only and no throwables. Extra points for no hallway builds

i was concerned about the learn by looting, but mostly because we dont know how it will work, dont wanna be "crucibled" for my weapons ect, but i didnt know speccing into the gun skill increases drop chance so thats good to know! seems they have increased book drops anyway so we shall see! like you said though i think combat skills should be learn by doing then learn the rest from books

Glock! You are my favorite 7D2D content creator by far. I've been watching your channel for years just for that and honestly you are impressive at creating content to fill the gaps between Alpha, and mostly with Vanilla game as well is further impressive.
