I was born and raised in oildale, lived there up until 2020, I left and whenever I tell my friend that my town has a song they never believe me until I show him the two song. It's a town that tough you up and I had fun there I really hope one day people make the town better. Great job Chad!

Let's be real, it has its nice areas but when people think oildale, the first thing that comes to mind is what they see crossing that bridge. Beardsley isn't Oildale but it gives you an idea what to expect. I'm originally from Arvin and to be honest I'll choose Oildale over that fkn place any day. Seems like everybody is connected to the cartels in one way or the other and they're constantly finding bodies out in the fields, it's a terrible place for kids to grow up in. I live in the Southwest now, but Oildale is a special place to put it nicely. 👍

They wrote a song about Oildale. It was released on their Korn 3 Remember Who You Are album in 2010. I went to go see them live in Bakersfield in concert shortly after it was released.
