Big shout out to the Casio Keyboard Demo orchestra for their work on PSSM's soundtrack. They really captured the essence of the eternal struggle between the Senshi and those that would do the galaxy harm. :p
@Condor Q-G-MacKie No, there is not a video of the cancelled ending, but if you play Sailor Moon on mame and use debug mode, you can find unused sprites that were supposed to be used in the planned ending and you can find some unused music that it's likely some of those unused tracks were going to be used in the planned ending.
For all you Sailor Moon enthusiasts in the Chicagoland area, you can find a working cabinet of this game at the Galloping Ghost Arcade on Ogden Ave. Came across it while looking for another rare one, Ninja Baseball Batman, (Which they also have) and thought 'Looks like Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles, but for girls' :) Wanted to give the game a try, but it was being monopolized by two Goth chicks that were WAY into it, so I moved on. Next time wife and I are in Chicago, I'll take her with me, as she's a Sailor Moon fanatic.
I played this at YoumaCon with some other random guy, found the special dive attack you can do by jumping while sprinting, then Down+Attack. Jupiter's is especially hilarious and spammable because upon hitting someone it recoils you back so you can keep setting it up over and over! I used it to plow through people in between waves. LOL. But then we got to Zoicite+Kunzite, who both have anti-air defenses. c_c
Did u guys know that they 49 episode live action sailor moon show came out in 2003 its called "pretty guardian sailor moon" check it out its not related to the anime it more related to the manga for the 1st 4 or 5 episodes and then it takes its own path after that its best to start off with episode zero dont have to but its back story of sailor venus and how Artemis met

Well, it also depends on how lucky you were; arcade cabinets sometimes circulate. They had a cabinet with this exact game in the local arcade where I grew up, which was nowhere near Japan.
Hoooow the hell has no gaming king pins thought of a current Sailor Moon video game!? It would be so dope, fuck a make up line lol! there needs to be a video game made like Final Fantasy with crazy graphics, long ass story lines and multiple editions.
Now imagined an updated HD version where you can also play as the Outer Guardians, the Sailor Starlights, Princess Kakyuu (the red haired Mongolian hat wearing hottie with the great taste in curly toed slippers), Sailor Galaxia, etc. and go through 5 or so seasons worth plus stuff from Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon live action (can you see Mercury fighting Evil Mercury?).
One thing i dont get about japaneese cartoons - why does everyone look totally non-asian like? Do japaneese people suffer from some kind of anxiety how they look?

And then the writers all died before making an ending.

In the dungeon with the kids in the test-tubes ( 16:42 ), you can smash the glass and free them for points.
This was an unfairly hard game, you needed to do the two jab infinite trick (straight outta Final Fight) to get through the mobs and the odd boss.
